One stop shop ! You make it easy for yourself with jigs and fixtures and the backup of your family engineering knowledge. When you fill the tubes with sand use a vibrating tool, drill, to help the sand pack down between all the fills then wind the screw plate to compact the sand. The less air gaps the better the bend stability. Hope that helps. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Awsome Phil really loving this build. You are giving us all so many great tips and tricks, you're really taking the mystery and fear out of building my own bike.
Another great video bud. Here in the states we have a saying Keep it Simple Stupid. K.I.S.S. I don’t miss a second of your videos all the instruction and detail helps a guy like me a lot. Sissy bar is killer. You take care and stay safe.
Your right on the clutch system. My 81 low rider had. The springs and same pushrod as but 83-84 shovel and 1st year softail had the diaphragm as well. Looking good.
Hi Phil, i have a single cylinder howard and am thinking of building a bike with it so am watching for tips, i have an old AJS frame and burman gearbox but am holding off to see if i can find a sturmey archer Gearbox which these engines use in motorcycle form... I believe several motorcycle manufacturers used these engines relabeled. Cool to see another project similar to what I have in mind. Finding parts in NZ is near impossible so will be sourcing from Aussie when i can... Good luck with the build.
Nice to watch what one man can do is a garage shop with some basic tools, no need for a million dollar shop, just some talent.
That’s exactly what I’m trying to show with these videos! About how you use it 😂

Thank you so much for the support! I have lots coming out in the next couple weeks.
Loving this build series man. How tall is that little build table you’re using?
It’s about 2 foot high!
Probably be fun to ride now that is about the weight of a sportster
Thats exactly right, they haul ass when they are this stripped back. You can see what the outlaws were going for back in the 60's
Is that a Howard up on the bench
Correct
❤
Hi mate what’s the best way to get in touch with you?

That sissy bar doesn’t go with that bike…😢
You the cops?
