Austin is a damn good bassist and deserves way more recognition from the music world. His tone is as close to perfect as perfect can get when it comes to bass. Thanks for this quick walkthrough!
ive heard people say that since it sits at the bottom on the instrument. but i also say the E or in this case D is the bottom. He's not wrong. Just different than you.

best bass tone in the game rn
i love this song so much. Pleaseee add the bass and drum lines to the ultimate guitar interactive tab so my one-woman-band can learn it!!
I mean, if you are explaining how to play something on an instrument, why would you leave a background song while he is explaining it?
Apart from that, good video.
This is exactly what I was wanting thaaaaank you!!!!!
got damn that tone
Is this just the sans amp and the rat pedal that were hearing?
1:31 reminds me of RATM guerrilla radio
It really does sound like it. Tim Commerford came up with so many awesome bass grooves.
Be good if he new which string was the bottom one! Cool riff though.
He's playing in Drop D, so actually he does know what string it is
@@corypeltier9576 What does the tuning have to do with it? Right at the beginning he calls the G string the bottom one.
@@Berserkr696 I didn't even catch that, throughout the rest of the video he says, "the bottom D string," though. Thought u were referring to that.
@@corypeltier9576 It's all good, I must have been in a pedantic mood that day. Not sure why I really cared, it was a cool riff.

Movements are a cool af band, i just can't stand when metalcore has riffs in major :D :D
What does that have to do with....anything?
