#NFL #BROWNS - Спорт
As a British fan, I've learned more about football from this channel than any mainstream media outlets. I gave up with those outlets years ago and haven't looked back since. Grateful for content creators like yourself Q, giving international fans a much better understanding than any ESPN show!
Cherio mate! New Hampshire, USA here originally from Cleveland.
@@scottzappa9314 the World's Team!
@@UKBrownsNFL Yes they've replaced the Cowboys, LOL
It's super exciting for this Ohio resident here to see friends from across the pond! Go Browns!
There are plenty of Brownies in the uk. I have been a fan since the early 80’s when the NFL started to get television coverage over here
What we refer to as mainstream sports talk left sports behind a long time ago. Content creators like yourself have filled that void. Great content Q
I couldn’t agree more. Main stream sports media appeal to team fandom more than team knowledge. They focus on player contracts instead of performance. They seek out controversy to push ratings. What they don’t do is talk about team identities and schemes. And in the end they are just creating sound bites that their own sports news reports on to push their ratings! Thats why I come here for Browns incites. You break down facets of the team and blend in player analysis within the big picture. And you probably sell some tickets even if you aren’t trying.

Oops!
Well said.
You are wrong, it’s about money and influence… they are partners with these organizations… they have “secret sources” who steer narratives when it comes to contracts and conduct to effect popular opinion and belief…
We all saw it real time with Watson… the mainstream media is clearly married to the narrative that a franchise QB at the top of his game is not to request a trade because too much money and organizational influence lies with that player…
It’s all about the money
This all starts with Skip Bayless who never had any informed takes and would often put out takes regardless of what the actual facts of the game were. He was the first great fake news artist the bring us all this for entertain mainstream news shows that don’t engage with the actual sport. Actually we should be grateful for independent platforms like UA-cam that were able to provide us REAl dialogue that the big sports news companies weren’t willing to produce anymore.
That’s 🧢. If you actually listen to what he’s saying you’ll know he is very knowledgeable.
The last day I ever watched Bayless, over a decade ago, was when he actually said "Johnny Manzeil is a First Ballot NFL Hall of Famer." The End.
The loud, negative hot take for clicks and engagement is dead. Only the laziest still think it works.
Credibility matters because we can see right through the bullshit.
Q is doing the type of content we all respect and want.
They don't WANT the general fan to know more..They're the "expert ".. They want you to be the novice so they can continue to be the expert..🤔
I might have missed you mentioning them, but the Pat Mcafee show does exactly what you’re wanting from sports talk
Pms is the best sports show I've ever watched.
National sports talk has devolved into clickbait driven by predictable tropes, pre-packaged narratives and deliberately inflammatory "hot takes".
You can still get decent, probing coverage from local sources.
Sports media and media in general is all about pushing a certain narrative, and seeing who can get the story out the quickest, regardless of the truth.
I enjoy individuals like Q who cover a specific team rather than a catch-all corporate media.
Better than Matt Peterson on chat sports who apparently also covers the Broncos, if not more teams.
Go Browns!
It reminds me of WWE/WWF changed and marketed itself as “sports entertainment” just to be able to simplify the product as much as possible for profit
AMEN, Q! Today's big sports shows are just unwatchable.
Truth is people are invested but not that invested majority of nfl fans are fly by night fans turn on epsn here some drama and then go back to work. You have to want more (be more invested) to be local media over mainstream
As someone who watches a lot of local sports coverage, it's refreshing to see what the national media is saying and how people outside of Cleveland feel.
I prefer the non-Homer takes. They ain't afraid to tell you how it really is about your team. Like if your qb is trash in every single individual passing metric, they will let you know. I'm kind of upset though, when I saw the thumbnail I was hoping you would just be bashing Stephen A lol can't stand him.
Mainstream media has to oversimplify football for the fans who are less knowledgeable. It’s just not for People who have a good understanding of the sport
There are literally hundreds of video’s on YT that explain football’s rules and instruction
@@basher5107 ….your point being?
@@kameronjones6633 uh since your dense I’ll try to break it down for you,
There are expanding markets for the NFL but not many countries outside the USA understand the basic rules and how the sport is played so I was informing others that there are resources on UA-cam that can help others learn and understand the sport better
Wasn’t that deep was it?
@@basher5107 yea you misinterpreted the comment, typical of someone who begins their response with an insult🤷🏾♂️. Anyways the point that I am conveying is that mainstream nfl outlets are tailered to people who do not watch & study the game as avidly as me or you AND don’t really wish to become knowledgeable. Believe it or not some people are simply not interested in the X’s & O’s of the game, but want to hear what the media is saying about their respective teams. Do you understand the comment now?
I think what it boils down to is mainstream media are just big corporations at the end of the day. They exist to make money just like any other corporation and they know appealing to the lowest common denominator is the best way to accomplish that which is why it’s so common. That’s not a new trend though, I would argue it’s been like that for a long time. The good news is that there is still a lot of quality sports coverage out there that can be both analytical and entertaining (Quincy’s channel included), it’s just not a primary focus of the mainstream media so you have to search around for it more.
Haven't watch national sports media in years there bias towards city like Cleveland, Milwaukee etc.etc
Dunning Kruger, the fact that you understand DK effect shows why you’ve flown past ultimate clev sport show on subscriptions 👍👍
Speak for Yourself was a great show when it was just Acho and Wiley. Two former players, intelligent, passionate and trustworthy, getting real about being NFL pros. Not interested in a panel of knuckleheads fighting for talk time and making irrelevant points that sound good. Wish these networks realized that less is more.
The closest I can think of is dan orlovsky and ryan clark are the only example of main stream film break down
dont forget Baldy.
Orlovsky and balinger good content
For the Algorithm.
Thanks for the content Q.
I completely agree Stephen A lost his BatMan in Max Kellerman
Ive learned more about about football watching your show than decades lf watching espn
Controversy, gossip. pocket watching....oh, it has some connection to sports/figures, All should be named the Sports View. Keep up SPORTS, QC, way to go.
I like film review you had a real good one showing jok getting too close to the front line
It’s been bad, I also feel like they are not able to have the insight like YTer’s who only follow one team. This doesn’t excuse the stupid things that come out of his mouth.
Quincy I have to know do you think we resign Amari Cooper?
Is that time of year when you run out of topics to talk about how? 😫😫😫
I think George Floyd, others and the pandemic changed everything. When players, coaches and local sports casters like Dale Hansen started to talk about societal issues it was the beginning of the end. It seems they talk about almost anything but sports these days. This wasn't a bad thing but it probably wasn't executed properly. Perhaps not laying into Kyrie Irving and Aaron Rogers was a better idea.
I can see why Mark Cuban sold some stake in the Mavericks. With TNT deal expiring there is a general sense that sports leagues need fresh marketing.
Jesus Christ, I know I'm not a football expert but my knowledge is better than it was with shows like this. I'm not so sure about other fans. Dunning-Kruger effect? LOL yeah it's widespread and you can see nations and people alike that are pretty stupid and unaware. And what I mean is it ain't just football. "Football experts" do not post stupid opinions that they think are facts. MS Sports is just there to make money, essentially. They don't care that much about integrity or audience interaction.
Facts 👍🏿
Go Browns
