Hello. I know this is an older video and you might not see this comment. However, I just wanted to take the time to thank you for your fabulous set reviews. I’m a fledgling AFOL with a vision impairment. I got into Lego about a year ago and became hooked. Building sets helps me destress and get through college work. I’m a psychology student and it’s amazing how a good long Lego session can help me slog through some rather heavy subjects.
Anyway, due to my eyesight, there are a lot of set details I miss out on just by looking at the pictures. That in mind, I went searching UA-cam for any good video reviews of sets I’m interested in. I found your channel in spring of 2017 and have been a subscriber and fan ever since. The detail found in your reviews is phenomenal both visually and verbally. Your camera angles and stark white background make it easy for me to focus in on what you’re reviewing. You also give a lot of great verbal details that help me get an even better picture of whatever set I’m interested in. It was your review of this Parisian Restaurant set that led to me purchasing it back in October. I built it successfully and it is one of my favorite sets aside from Destiny’s Bounty. Every time you release a new video, I watch it even if the set isn’t one I think I’ll be interested in.
You have my most sincere and heartfelt thanks for all the hard work that goes into each and every video you produce. I look forward to seeing what you come out with next.

Hey Jang. I just built this one and it is by far my favorite of the modular sets I’ve built so far. I love both the external and internal details that some of its predecessors don’t have. I still have to built all the one that we’re released after this one, but I think this will stand up to any of them. Thanks for your videos, they are really fun to watch, especially after building the sets. Cheers.
Hey there. I have now collected every modular set except the first three, which I don’t think I’ll ever get since they are cost prohibitive. The ones I have I’ve built in the order they were released so I could see the evolution of the builds as I go. The Parisian restaurant was the last one I built, meaning I still have all the more recent ones yet to build. So the Parisian restaurant might get displaced once I built the other sets, but for now, it’s my favorite. What about you? How many do you have? Cheers.
The colored floor tiles you reference at 1:40 spell the word "CHEZ." I was really impressed when I saw that, too bad it gets covered up with the tables and chairs!
11:43, I thought it was a kiln for pottery. Maybe the artist made the pots that the restaurant is using.

Same! It’s also gonna be my first modular and it’s so damn good. I didn’t realize this was a 2014 set until this video but I like it better than all of the recent modulars lol! It’s just so simple yet so charming and I love the :) faced minifigures. Everything about this set is amazing and I can’t wait to build it!

I got this 2 months ago from the lego store. It is probably my 2nd favorite modular of all the modulars favorite being the 2015 detectives ofice which I got from the lego store last august as my first modular ever. Currently 25% done on the perisan resturant and I love it so far. 4 sections 4 days of buiilding makes it easy to break into sections.

I love the proffessionalism of your videos! You do a great job of highlighting all of the features of a set; both positive and negative. Fun fact: personally for me, this set didn't impress me quite as much as the other modular buildings of the past, but now I am regretting that I never made it a part of my collection!

I did get it and I'm building it! I'm on the first floor walls I just got the inside done. It's gonna take a while though because I have to work in my attic and its really hot up there.

Fantastic set, right now it's between this and the Ninjago City for my favorite sets of all time. There's so many solid parts to this build, nothing particularly flashy, but it's just all very beautiful and detailed. Love this set

Got outbid for the Detective Office and bought this one instead (water damaged box, contents perfecto) and am most satisfied. :) Soooo much space to display other mini-figs I have - dinning with each other or visiting the two apartments, even a couple of guys fencing out back. Can't wait to tackle my big box of awesome.

I was thinking of getting the detective office next, since I have the downtown diner, but might be changing my mind. This set does look really nice and will probably be retiring this year.
SuperZandersmom my guess would be next year. The cinema was just retired, can’t believe I got it 3 days before the official retirement. I only am missing the bank and diner, and out of all of them (I have every set from petshop onward) is the town square one, it’s really worth it with the variety it brings as well as the huge piece count and beautiful builds.
Get the Parisian, the Detective's Office isn't very good in my opinion.

I got this set about a week ago and it took me about 8 and 1/2 hours to build. If anyone else has this set or is planning to get this set I would be interested to know how long it takes you to build this huge 2,469 piece set!

The blue striped suit torso is perfect for a custom tenth doctor. Just give it matching blue legs, swap out the hands for flesh tones ones and find an appropriate head and hair and there is a Doctor fit to stand beside 11 and 12 any day.
It can also be used for the palace cinema

The second floor (apartment) reminds me of the second floor of the LEGO Firehouse modular building.
