    Day by day, natural disasters will continue to intensify. A new period of worldwide change is beginning, and each of us will feel its consequences. The only way to save civilization is to unite the efforts of the international scientific community and start solving the problem. It is also important for everyone to prepare and have a plan of action in case of extreme climatic situations.

      I visited mt st Helen as a child after the event - tragic events but also fascinating display of nature

      @johnmchugh8049 I was up on the eastern slope.. we took the road south that runs between Mt Adam's and Mt St Helen's and then turned right up the esster approach.
      I was blown away by the amount of trees that are all laying the same direction as if blown over by some giant ! Surreal almost.
      There's a video of the blast of Helen's that showed the eruption..the guy was quite aways away and he still didn't make it out in time before being suffocated
