Hello, I'm currently in grade 11. I've seen quite a few maker portfolios and am confused when do you guys submit them. I've seen portfolios for class of 2028 being submitted in 2024. How's that possible. They must be submitting it in their 8th grade or so right? When do we actually need to submit them. Any deadline?
ok im not sure if you're aware that when they say "accepted class of 20XX" they mean the year they will graduate from uni. Also - for deadlines, there's early admission and regular admission. advantages and disadvantages of both can be found online, deadlines for either are on MIT's website. Maker portfolios are included as parts of applications to engineering-related things, i guess.
I dont find out untill March! Since I ended up matching with Yale through Questbridge, I was forced to enter MIT's regular action pool due to Yale's restrictive early action policy. However, I contacted them and they said it has no negative effects on my application so fingers crossed. But if you anybody has any questions about me matching with Yale, I'd be happy to answer! :)
