- October 20, 2012: HD Quality. #17 Texas Tech goes on the road and defeats #23 TCU 56-53 in a Triple Overtime instant classic. Seth Doege throws 7 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Tech improves to 6-1 for the 2012 season.

I was in the dorms watching this game with 8 of my pals. We went ballistic along with the rest of the Texas Tech Campus! Wreck 'em!!!
Texas Tech alum here...took my son who was current Tech student to the game. We were seated in a sea of purple:( Wore our Red and Black proudly! Unbelievable game - so happy Tech prevailed in the end (zone) lol
Living in Belgium now, we only see what ESPN America shows us. But we did get the very end of this game and wow what an end!!!! Great play by both teams, but Guns Up!!! (OU Alum but lived in Lubbock for a few years)

Those announcers really had no idea what they were talking about for most of this game.

Titus, the reason for the aspect ratio switch is because my local ABC station sucks. Half the time they will broadcast HD content in standard definition 4:3 ratio.
So the color commentator used to work for the Mtn Network where TCU played their games in the MWC. Shocker.

I am not ashamed to say that I was wrong about TCU. I think they will do well in the Big 12, a natural rival for Tech. Welcome and Guns up!
