Wow. We use have trees round here like that. But they spray so much any more they killed them out. I don't like them lol. But my mom use to love them big o seeds in them. Lol. I've never seen noone make anything with them. But eat them raw. Really looks delicious. I always heard learn something every day. Well I have today. Lol.
@@AdventuresintheHeartland lol update turns out I'm allergic so that sucks it tasted really good but ended up with headache hives and being dizzy so at least I got to try it
They do not grow that far north. And you can not get them in the stores they do not have a shelf life. You have to use them soon as they are ripe or they go bad fast.
I haven't been paw paw hunting in years! I can't even begin to count how many have hit or almost hit me in the head lol I used to wear my motorcycle helmet when harvesting them. They are so good!!!! I bet that paw paw bread is amazing.
So i guess my question is, do yall get sick from baking the pawpaws im seeing all sorts of stuff about pawpaws containing a non water soluble nerotoxin. Causes stomach aches and vomiting. Any advice?

They actually grow all the way into Canada. We have a ton here in Michigan
Ours are not ready yet this year.
