Joan Collins most definitely rocked it as Alex, and I loved every minute of her short time on the show! A shame GL and she couldn't reach an agreement on her work schedule.
It ultimately was not the scheduling: Collins could not handle the vigorous shooting schedule and pacing that _Guiding Light_ had in comparison to primetime.
My gosh, she is so beautiful - such a pretty woman. Her hair looked so good like that.

@@DegrassiInstantStar. That’s what I’ve always heard.
My mom watched GL and she loved when Joan Collins was on there! I remember her saying she wished they kept her. Joan is a legend!
Loved this era.
Joan Collins rocked GL! She as amazing!
Ms. Collins filled Alexandra's shoes...and RAN with it. Her run was way too short. Thx for the upload.
Joan Collins is just incomparable. I loved Bev Mckinsey to bits but joan rocks! I read she loved working with Crystal Chappell and grant alexander
Ron resembles Josh Lewis. Imo. I got them confused a few times back in 2002.😊
Better theme music than most CBS soaps.
Did the bride swallow the ring and you were helping her retrieve it?! 😂😂😂😂
She looks young enough to play Alexes CC daughter.
I want to see this whole story!!
YAH..I agree...I can't believe she wasn't well received at the time.
That is not Louise Sorel.. XD
MrCraigblaze Louise Sorel never played Alexandra
No it’s mutha Joan Collins!!!
@@justinyonker9624 I was referring to when Crystal Chappelle was on Days of our lives..The cattiness between Carly and Vivian.. XD
That sounds like what Gina on Santa Barbara when she was kidnapped to stop interfereing in a weeding.. XD
I ❤ Joan, but Beverlee McKinsey is the ONLY Alexandra for me. And CC would have made a perfect Blake recast after SS left.
