Scarr Mountain and Kanturk Circular

Done this hike anti clockwise heading up towards scouts which will put lough dan on your right, the route is well worn and should be no problem, but gaters are advisable as the first half of the hike is bog, especially at this time of year. The top of scarr is extremely breezy but lovely views, following the kanturk Circular and leaving scarr mountain the path will bring you to a bend in the road take the left it will take you down the side of the forest and to a gate you are then near a main road not to far now, when you reach the road take a left and stay on it for a couple of mile which will bring to back to start position.
