Sure because it has an optimized built-in TIP for the larger hybrid turbo vs. using another brand's intake with a normal/OE turbo-sized TIP. Any intake with a hybrid-size TIP will give similar results. Does sound good!
Someone did a flow test and the Racingline intake (foam filter) with the inlet hose with a generic turbo inlet flowed better than the Atom V2 kit. The Atom intake didn’t even come in second. That was tied between the Racingline (foam filter) intake with 034 Inlet hose with a generic turbo inlet and the Racingline (foam filter) intake with the MST turbo inlet and turbo inlet hose. Not sure which setup sounds the best though haha. I plan on upgrading the intake on my R when I upgrade the turbo again. Just running the APR full intake but getting the MST turbo inlet and hose soon 👍🏼

Yeah I would take his info with a grain of salt a bench flow test is much different than real driving out on the road in various conditions lol he’s been called out many times on many parts such as intake, Inlet and intercooler where read road driving and data logs contradict his results lol.. but yes anyways the intake is great so far and def a good improvement ! 👍🏽

@@mygolfmk7209 Go ahead no problem it’s not that deep. There have been multiple instances where real world testing on a car differs from testing on a flow bench. In my situation wastegate duty cycle dropped 5% and fuel trims rised about 5% at high rpms indicating increased flow in my situation. Also boost coming in quicker in lower rpms etc. again putting a part on a car and driving it can show different results that connecting a hose on a bench and pushing air through it ..
So I never used the 034 intake but compared to my old Apr intake it dropped WGDC and the turbo spooled a few hundred rpm sooner. This is very beneficial on a hybrid setup
I have a question about the cobb ap. I'm with 034 right now. Waiting on my eqt xl. Do I use the ap to go back to stock or 034 setup to go back to stock?

Are you getting compressor surge at part throttle? That intake really amplifies every little noise bud, sounds pretty crazy!
Yes compressor surge from not dropping a gear it’s only for the video haha I always make sure to downshift to the proper gear before going wot

Yessir it’s completely FBO with a vortex xl turbo. Haven’t been able to dyno yet but I’m suspecting it’s in the 500s for whp

Have seen multiple logs of reduced wastegate duty cycle and boost coming in quicker etc. not saying the gains are massive but the numbers do show
