I really enjoy this format, i.e. an episode uploaded daily...a little harmless and nostalgic escapism each evening. Thank you Classic British Television.
As we move into the 80s the production values are improving, and there is now a cast of thousands behind the camera as well. 30 minutes in and we already have heaps of strange clues. Great stuff.
Thanks for putting the second part up earlier. We will watch it later I'm sure I speak for others when I say that if only you had an inexhaustible supply of these series we would glady pay a subscription fee. The funny thing is I'm no Spring chicken but I missed all these things first time around. Don't know why?
I've just finished watching in one breath The Family Affair and now this fascinating one. I will never be tired of watching English ( British ) series. Thank you kindly for presenting an opportunity like this.
Those were the days! No rubber gloves, shoe covers or protective suits at the crime scenes. No bagging and tagging of evidence. No computerised information systems, CCTV’s or mobile phones. How did any criminal get caught?😂
How could the police have missed the victim's handbag the same day, especially as it was a hundred yards away? Inspector Cooper didn't think to say, where is the victim's handbag. Women don't usually go out without some bag or other.

This looks like it was filmed around Southwold/Walberswick, beautiful part of Suffolk 😍
Another good 'un, thank you CBT, great to see the beautiful Judy Geeson, looking forward to the next episode
Nice work by the camera crew. Lots of interesting angles.
Enjoyed this.
Ed Bishop was so very good as Phillip Marlow in the BBC Radio versions of Raymond Chandlers stories.
Luv the music
Forget the actor's name, (he who plays Clifford), but I recognised him by his voice. (Michael Culver!)

Is Market Cross anywhere near Market Basing( Miss Marple)?
Looks like Southwold

Why would he tell the police officer his shoe size? I thought that was a bit contrived.
A bit,indeed😄
24:28. Aha! The usual ‘American’ character 😊 And it’s a young Ed Bishop to boot.
