- I've made a video before on t6 bruce but that was mainly about his strengths but not weaknesses but tbh he doesn't have any weaknesses only an i14 df1 and no muai thai stance transition on d3 4 but he was arguably the best character in the game...

2:04 - b2 gives a extended mini combo near a wall it's actually b2, d3, 4 , db2, 1,4
4:05 - SS 1+2 gives a full combo on CH.
CH SS 1+2 d3, 4 , 3,2,F 1, df4, f1 B~...
*Note* - if the opponent is far away after getting CH SS 1+2 just quick dash d3, 4 to pick up.
also his DF1 is i16
Bruce's moveset is so visually appealing without being over-the-top. Can't believe some would call him "boring".
No one calls him boring except for those Josie & Fahk stans who are threatened by him.

It's mainly how he plays ends up being boring.
He isn't boring, it's boring to fight him. He was broken, that's it.
Bruce also has a lot of elbows and knees which makes him great against characters with parries , for example law with his auto parry

From being crap in T5, to decent in TDR, fearsome in T6, and a complete war machine in TTT2. Then it became so dumb that the only way to nerf it was to scrap him. Fahkumram was Bruce Redux, basically.
He was pretty weak in DR too, in fact even more so than he was in T5.
@@toro2812 b2 and a 1+2 throw were what he missed to be decent. The rest was discrete. Safe ss tools were good too.
Honestly Bamco could have made b2 a High with reduced pushback and it would have been fair...mostly.
@@toro2812 This has me scratching my head. How is T5:DR Bruce bad? Sure, he has his problems in that game (lack of strong lows and lack of a decent launching whiff punisher), but he has amazing CH tools, disgusting combo damage (as has always been the case with Bruce), great keepout, great block punishment and solid poking. In fact, I'd say that he's the most unfairly written-off character in the game. He's not quite top-tier material but he's definitely high-tier.
@@davidparry5310 I mostly write him off in this game because of what you'd exactly mentioned, which is his terrible low game, the fact that you lose your turn even harder if you ever land a move like say, d4 for example makes him unbearable to play as, in retrospect, I don't think that he's worse than T5 bruce, his CH game was actually quite decent but considering the buffs that the other lower tiers of vanilla 5 received (Anna, King, Lei etc.) he really didn't have it better and was definitely mid tier at best.
@@toro2812 Not having any good lows is definitely a problem, but it isn't necessarily character-breaking, especially in older Tekkens. Look at T5:DR Bryan, for example.
I don't think Bruce, King or Anna in T5.0 were low-tier either (Lei's a different kettle of fish). I think they were all mid-tier. They had plenty going for them. It's just that they were significantly outshone by the plethora of really busted characters in that game. Almost all of the incredible CH tools that Bruce had in DR were already present in T5.0, as well as his great keepout and monstrous damage, but he would still have struggled against Steve 'SS into 3,1,1 infinite' Fox. The obscenely broken characters in T5.0 being nerfed in DR is what, more than anything, elevated the position of characters like Bruce, King and Anna in the tier list, though this isn't to say that the latter did not receive important direct buffs as well - Bruce gaining b+2 was definitely a big buff, as was 3,2 being made into a viable poke string.
I always like Bruce because of his fightstyle and prhase "I'm your worst nightmare", I hope he'll be on tekken 8

You forgot his Unblockable (b+2+3) has amazing side step tracking and speed, so he can do nice setup to catch tech roll on the wall with f+3,1 - unblockable ;which makes ez round. (ofc many of character like Roger has this kind of semi homing unblockable setup in T6)

The one you call "Muay Thai stance" is called Pasart stance. In real life, we call that a "check"

Went back and played tag2 recently since that t6 was my first tekken. Wanted to see how it felt after all these years. Tried bruce out and holy shit hes got some wild stuff. Just frames, throw strings, crazy wall carries. Dude was such a deep character
2:48 Crazy to think how this low went from being safe and having huge pushback on block in T5 to being -16 with no pushback in T6 and was still not a bad low

I wish I wasn’t trash during the earlier Tekkens so I could have appreciated these chars more. I really didn’t get much better until T7. That’s the bad side of Tekken never having a true tutorial in the earlier games. I didn’t know what the hell Tekken Zaibatsu was until T7 let alone frames and all that.
Tekken 6 training mode left a lot to desire. There was no way to record the dummy doing anything. It also didn't say if what you did was a punish.
Bruce has everything in t6 and probably the most damaging wall combo.
And dont even fight a good bruce with rage because death is on the way
Law has the most damaging wall combo in Tekken 6 because he still had the clean hit from his Dragon Cannon.

On most of his combos after the bound a better ender is f3 - 3,2f1 - 3,2f2. Does more damage. Sidestep 1+2 is a launcher on counterhit. Bruce players would often try and throw you after df3 since the opponent is waiting for the extension, the big uppercut. About his df1 string... The last hit can be delayed. I think Bruce is fine as a character overall. It's just his damage that needs to be nerfed.
Why is not the game at all no more everyone loves him more than the main characters

His d/f+1 is actually worse than you think. It's i16 here, so it's strictly used as a mixup tool while Standing 3 is his i13 poke.

Josie use escrima as her martial art while Bruce use Muay Thai. Plus Bruce is more cooler and better than Josie cuz he was my secondary main.
