  • Tekken 7 bryan is actually stronger than t6 bryan but bryan is tekken 6 was still better cuz of the environment (not many top tiers were there and something that bryan has was exclusive to him only)
    he also had much better movement than in tekken 7 which really helped him..

    Taunt also tracked a lot so if the opponent tried to side roll, you could do Taunt shenanigans (including TJU if you had the execution).

    Don't forget about juggle 50/50s with the easiest reset in the game (possibly in Tekken's history) in [d/b+2] against opponents who did not tech to avoid a taunt attempt; the opponent either got launched again for staying on the ground (with not option for bound) or they would stand up and have to take the taunt immediately.

    Speaking of Tekken 6, I would like to see Baek in Tekken 8, he was my second favorite fighter in that game.

    T7 bryan but with T6/TTT2 bound would very easily be the best version of the character

    You can actually get a free jet upper when you get a counter hit in f4 (if he doesn't tech roll)

    I always assumed Knee's handle was because he used Bryan...
    I do think I saw him use Devil Jin sometimes but DJ was more Qudans' thing.

    hey just want to say I'm a new player in tekken. Perhaps, can someone explain what does he mean by +2 on hit and -8 on block?

    • @Dr.Happy11
      @Dr.Happy11 Рік тому +5

      It's frame advantage. Basically, when the elbow hit you, Bryan would be at +2 frames, and you at -2. So, if afterwards you both did a move of same speed (eg, both do a jab that is 10 frames), Bryan would beat you everytime. And if you did a jab, and Bryan his magic 4 (which is 12), you would trade.
      Having frame advantage is always good, but there are specific breakpoints that matter more than others (based on matchup, positioning, player tendencies, etc.)
      For instance, being at -2 is not too terrible, since you can try to force your way in with a quick move or a high/low crush, you can sidestep, backdash, parry, or even powercrush (since they take 8 frames to activate).
      On the flip side, being at -8 (like Bryan after his df2 was blocked in T6) means that you must respect your opponent, at least a bit. You don't have time to sidestep, backdash or lowparry duckjabs, and unless you are brokenass jin or geese, might not be able to parry. Pressing an attack will probably get you CounterHit and killed.
      However, it all depends. If you're at -8, your opponent might try to force their mixup, or throw a slow powermid. If you get a read, you might want to attempt to steal back your momentum. Nothing wrong with some calculated mashing, to put some doubt in your opponent's approach.
      Besides, as the saying goes "you're only minus if you're a bitch"
