My favored channel on you tube. Honest no fake talk the love and faith and kindness is real not just something put on a shirt or hat. God's Army!! Not a cult.
Nice 👍 ... like to see a psy-ko 461 with piston mod vs the psy-ko 462 ... the stock 461 seems like its laboring thru the cut ! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all !
Thanks for the videos that are very interesting. the more I look to convince myself that the ms462 is a very fast saw that has the number 1 in the 70 cc class
Derrick hi. I borrowed this from the last bench talk vid > Well, I guess anything is possible. If God is smiling on me, then yes. Christmas is on the horizon. Thanks for watching.
Thomas hi. They performed about the same. Different feel altogether. Lowend power in tte 461 vs all "on tte pipe" 462. The 461s have WAY more potential. The 462s are WAY less mass. The 461 will last longer topend wise due to the lack of raw air being metered into the engine. Thanks for watching.
Well that's what real life is like, things just do not go according to plan .. a bit of electronic not wanting to talk to another bit of electronic is just the way it is ! I'm sure some other folk will want to make an issue out of this to try and discredit Jacks work.... perhaps if they do "they" should go out and do some real work in the wood. This comment is not directed at anyone in particular just those on other platforms who seem to "know" by watching a video what his work is like .. As I have said before anyone with knowledge can build a "fast" saw but to build a "work" saw is a whole other depth of knowledge. If you just want a "fast " saw to cut for fun or firewood then there is a large amount of choice out there but for work the pool of choice narrows down a good bit ! This is based on 7/8 years of putting my livelihood in no small way in Jacks hands.
Daniel hi. No. That's the rub with this particular tach. It is awesome on the non computer controlled, early style coils and some of the intermediate smog saws like the 461 stock coils. Gives false readings on the Husky auto-tune & Stihl m-tronic equipped saws for the wide open throttle numbers. Reads low some of the times on the Huskys as well as high. Reads way high on the m-tronic saws ~ x2 from what I see. Thanks for watching and hope your New Years is good.
JL hi. That is somewhat loaded. All things being equal though, I think that the stockly, pre-smog saws will last longer since they are not dealing with the extra heat associated with being stratified with either raw air or exhaust depending upon which 4 series saw you are referencing. Thanks for watching.
IMHO as much as I like the ms462 They are a pretty hot saw out of the gate, (pun intended) but also not as much room for "magic" to be performed. The flywheel is awesome on these saws though. Heavier bearings are nice. But the saw gets a lot of heat thrown back into herself. Think an EGR system on a diesel. But less complicated. Both Great saws! But I'm old school and love my 461 (ported conservatively) Most. Best work saw for everything IMHO.... From bucking to felling 2nd growth without beating yourself to death. Just my .02. Oh..... Also the 461 will likely last longer. Especially if you're just doing a muff mod or/and light port polish job. Keeping fresh fuel in her, keeping her chains sharp and bars dressed, you'll own it for a loooooong ass time with a smile on your face. If you can pick up a 461.... That's the route I'd go. 💪
The 462 sounds like it is working harder....won't last like the 461....lot of the new Stahl models are holding up....been having longevity issues at work....
That 462 Sounds like a pissed off hornet!

Just bought a new ms461 to replace my moded ms390. So far I love it. Can't wait to start moding it.
Thanks for all the videos, Jack. May you be safe and warm and in the arms of those you love this Christmas season.
Ciao amico cosa ne pensi della 462 grazie mille
Thanks for the videos that are very interesting. the more I look to convince myself that the ms462 is a very fast saw that has the number 1 in the 70 cc class
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Happy new year. 🍻
What saw do you think is better the stihl 462c or the husqvarna 572xp
The stihl is lighter, due to a lighter crankshaft. Both very similar in performance. Time will tell which one will last longer than the other.
Are you going to get your hands on a Stihl ms 500i anytime soon?? Would love to see you test run one

Merry Christmas Jack!
Aye been missing content too... all good though Merry Christmas Jack! 🎄👌
C-M has dual magnet flywheel, 2 pulses per rev vs 1
it appears to cut better when its not up to its dawgs in wood?
I got a 660 that has not been worked much. Any idea what I should ask for it.
Tom hi.
Shoot me an email with some pictures please.
Thanks for watching.
@@hotsaws101 ok. Gonna get close to it some time today.
So you don’t tell us which one performs better??

Great videos thank you and god bless
If you port them it's a different story
Yes 461 takes the win ported

Which will give longest service life of Stihl 4's?

@@hotsaws101 The older 040 /440 mainly - I like the old saws no knock to the new technology though - Thanks for the video!

2880-1 vs 13500-1 vs 10000-1 it's OK
it's normal
I have the same problem with my tach on my 550 autotune .
