In 2017, I went to see her open for another artist in Hiroshima. She was just starting to gain momentum in Japan but was still relatively unknown, so the venue was sparse until she had nearly finished. After her performance, she set down her guitar and slipped off the stage right into the audience to watch the main act. I walked over, and we shared a brief conversation. she is one of those artists that make you question... "do i even deserve to listen to this?" because of how unreal the listening experience has been. at least for me, i am still at loss of words on how to describe her. her voice heals me from my worries. i am so grateful i get to know her.

Hearing other's stories about their time listening to her always sounded more "genuine" of an experience as opposed to my own. I listen to her music on days that my heart weighs heavy on my chest. it makes it feel like the burden is a little lighter. I also listen to her when my heart feels at peace. it's like the comfort of hearing an old friend's laughter. I've found myself with tears streaming down my face more than a few times now while listening to her sing. I keep on wondering in awe every time, thinking that she must actually be an angel. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels like this.
My mind was flooded with problems and school, just few seconds into the video everything just disappeared for a moment and I felt like all the weight on my shoulders lifted. Thank you Ichiko Aoba.

i found this this morning after staying up all night, playing games and talking to friends earlier in the evening... i was alone. If i ever could not listen to this i would be a little upset . i love this more than any of the new music i've found recently. perfect to play casual games like grand theft auto alone to. while driving around in an empty public lobby selling cars using an import export vehicle warehouse or playing minecraft trying to gather every high value item when the owner prefers to leave the realm on passive for weeks since the realm opened with no signs of ever changing it
