Girl Next Door [Stage Door 1937 tribute]

I loved this movie and the sort-of rivalry between Katharine Hepburn (Terry) and Ginger Rogers (Jean) - it always makes me think of this song. They're both very ambitious women with big personalities, who are also a little envious of each other in some ways, so I wanted to show both POVs. They have their differences but due to a series of events, eventually begin to understand each other and work things out.
It really is an excellent movie with a very talented cast and a good balance of comedic elements and dramatic moments.

Such an amazing cast... Ginger, Kate, Lucy, Ann... so much fun! When Kate and Ginger walk away from the door after seeing out Lucy, their conversation is almost prophetic, isn't it?

This is absolutely beyond perfect, I absolutely love it! I am yet to see this movie (been watching through the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers films) but it's on my to-watch list and I think this video just bumped it up to #1. Your editing is amazing (as usual), the song choice is BEYOND perfect...I just love it! :) x
