The nicest, kindest and dorkiest actor who has ever lived, or ever will, and that's a fact.
You know, a year ago, I completely hated black and white films. I thought they were hard to look at, the cinematography looked weird and sound was strange. But then I came across a clip from a film called "The Philadelphia Story" and all it took was someone shouting "OH C. K. DEXTER HAAAAAVEN!" and I was done for. I fell in love with a tall, lanky guy with beautiful blue eyes and a smile that makes you weak in the knees. The more films I watched with him, the more I realized that not only is he one of the greatest actors of all time, but also the nicest man that ever came out of Hollywood.
And his face! Can we just please take a second to admire his glorious, dorky face? He has one of those faces that makes you happy just by looking at it.
So, James Maitland Stewart, there's only one thing that I'd like to say to you: thank you. Just THANK YOU! Thank you for making me fall in love with black and white films and just for being who you are/were and for everything you stand for, which, as far as I'm concerned, is a lot.
Also, why couldn't he have married Ginger Rogers? I mean, he and Gloria looked lovely together and seemed awfully happy (44 years of marriage!), but Ginger Rogers!
This video didn't turned exactly the way I wanted, but I hope you find it to be a good tribute to Jimmy. If you want to watch a FAR better tribute to him, watch this amazing video instead: • All Star [James Stewart]

It's very fitting that scene made you fall in love because it's one of my favorite moments in cinema period. All it takes is for me to think of that line and I bust out laughing! Thanks for this wonderful tribute!
That's one of my favorite movie scenes ever too. :)
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.

I am a huge fan! Thanks for making! My favorite actor!
Aww, thank you! This is absolutely beautiful!
Lindo doce charmoso talentoso ! um ser humano e ator fantástico!
Oh Cátia, I have to tell you, I was so excited when I saw this video in my sub box that, when I lunged for my earphones, I accidentally put my hand into a tub of yogurt...and then proceeded to spill it everywhere in the confusion. Needless to say, I was very, very excited to see this. And, predictably, I LOVED IT SO SO SO SO MUCH!!! Ugh, you had me from the quote at the beginning (which is one of my all-time favourite OH quotes). I absolutely adored your song choice and thought it was perfect for Jimmy. While I would say this was a celebratory video, it had such a tinge of sadness to it because of the song- I couldn't help but be constantly reminded that this incredible human being is no longer in the world. I don't mind admitting I had tears in my eyes as the song came to a close. Your editing and clip choice was divine- you have such an uncanny ability when it comes to clip selection and this video was no different. I especially loved the sequence from 1:01 - 1:34. Ugh this was such a flawless, flawless video. I just, I'm in awe of you once again.
P.S. "All Star" is a pathetic excuse for a video and in no way comes close to this :) But, thank you for the rec. You are much, much too kind to me. Hopefully, if people watch it, they realise just how INCREDIBLE yours is in comparison ;) xxx
Aww, thank you so very much, sweetie. That means a lot coming from you. :)
And I'm sorry about the whole mess I made you do. It was not my intention. ;D
Call me weird but through his roles in Harvey and Wonderful Life I see him as a man I would have loved to have known and had a coffee with and a good discussion about anything really
This is heavenly :)
Such a beautiful video :)
Thank you very much. :)
Love your video!! its gorgeous!!!!
If any scene can convert someone's opinion on black and white movies...that would be the one. My family quotes that entire scene all the time. Incredible actor. Fantastic video. Well done.
Thank you. ;)
I love all your videos. You are amazingly talented. You can't really find any good tribute videos to classic actors, but yours are perfect. I love old movies, they are seriously my life
Thank you for making them.
If you even get a chance, and take Suggestions, can you do one with Frank Sinatra. That would make my life.
Again, you are amazing! Never stop making such perfect videos.
Aww, thank you so much for such a lovely comment. :)
And I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration. I LOVE Frank Sinatra! ;)
0:48 what movie?
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939)
Wish I could have been able to shake his hand a real American
Off topic, but I'm just happy that people are still watching this. Those days of true patriots are gone, maybe we'll get a resurgence of like minded people in years to come, but we'll never get a group like the thousands of men and women we had in the 20s-60s(80s-ish).
I told y'all. Slenderman isn't harmful.
