Discontinued Route | Santa Cruz Metro 2020 Gillig BRT PLUS CNG

Route 10 has also been discontinued. A new route, namely Route 3, now serves as a direct route between UCSC and Capitola Mall meaning that there is no need to transfer for students trying to go from campus to the mall. This route follows the now discontinued Route 10 along High Street to the Metro Center and then this route splits into 3A and 3B following former Routes 66/ 68 respectively to the mall. In addition Route 3 now enters campus via the West Gate instead of the Main Gate, which means Route 3 circulates in the clockwise direction instead of the counterclockwise direction, which former Route 10 did.
