Just a tip here that I think could help those who struggle with colorful looks getting "muddy". You do NOT need a neutral to start off your crease because then the brown that's inevitably in that shade is what makes the color muddy. You can start directly with a medium colorful shade, or if that's intimidating to you, you can even start with a pastel and then add depth as you build colors. And if you absolutely feel like you need your neutral transition shade to be comfortable in a colorful eye then do as Emily did with the peach and just blend the from the border up, but don't go over the colorful shade. I hope that made sense. It's a game changer tip when it comes to pulling off green and blue on the crease and such! 😉
@@Battychick189 try using the color as your transition , or like I said if you really want to add a neutral then do it last and only on the very top of the shadows. Also a great transition shade to use with colors is a basic pink, (but make sure it's truly pink and not peach or rose brown) it's easy to blend into the skin, it goes really well with reds, oranges, yellow, berries, and also green, blues and purples because it doesn't turn them muddy, just a bit purple where they meet, so it usually looks very pretty!

Sometimes with baked gelee formulas like the Revlon skin lights bronzer you need to either break through a like top layer and/or use a dense natural hair brush to get more pigment out of them. Them being sheer and buildable is what I love about them.
The Maybelline Fit Me concealer is my holy grail from the drugstore, it never fails me. The colors are very pretty in that Ethereal palette, love the look you created.

I used a Revlon blush in Nude as far back as the 80's. It was a cool bronze shade. It was pretty great even back then. I think you can't go wrong with a really neutral natural shade blush for everyday.

Cool Ivory is the lightest shade in Fit Me concealer. I really like the Fit Me concealers, they are comparable to Nars creamy for me but much more affordable. I use a couple different shades for different purposes--brightening/highlighting, concealing & color correcting depending on the shade. It makes a good base to cancel redness under skin tints & tinted balms or sometimes I just wear it alone over spf as my base with some transparent setting powder.

The bronzer is looking great on camera, more natural and believable compared to some of the darker ones that can just sit on the hairline. It and the blush go lovely with the light tinted moisturiser you are wearing...but would no doubt get lost with a full coverage foundation. One should never covert but gosh I'm so envious of your skin. Think you could walk around with a mud pack on your face and still look beautiful.
Hi Em, when you got that bronzer out, I got an idea for a video… Showing a collection of products that are highly pigmented, and when you put them on, you’re like WHOA!! I’ve had that happen to me with certain foundations, and blushes, where I’ve actually had to wash it off and start over. Just a thought. 💖
Hi Emily. I have been following you a long long time (since the pink room) and most times I never comment, but here's two great things that happened. I had to go to Subway today and order your BLT salad. It's delicious!!! And I found 2 of the Emily Needs palette at a Marshalls and I bought both. I already have one and it's become my signature look, but I have hit pan on 3 of the eyeshadows. I will probably go back amd look for more. I don't ever want to run out of that palette. Thank you, you bring a lot of joy to my day. I talk about you to my family as if we know each other personally. I tell my daughter or sister "well Emily made me buy it". 🤣.
I have one of those new Covergirl lipsticks in the shade Darling Mocha and I LOVE it! It's a nice warm, toasty neutral shade that looks sooo smooth and beautiful on the lips, and leaves my lips feeling so nice and hydrated even once the color wears away. I also have been a huge fan of the Fit Me tinted moisturizer since last summer; now that it's hot where I live, I've been falling back in love with it all over again. I think it's especially great for super oily skin like mine; it stays looking so fresh and lovely all day! I hate that it got so much bad "buzz" on UA-cam when it came out; I feel like that probably turned off a lot of people who might have otherwise liked the product from even trying it. At my subway, we would always chop up the bacon, and it should only be a 6 inch portion, so 3 pieces!! Don’t be afraid to tell the worker what you want!! :)

@@MyCleverHandle Revlon has let me down with a crapton of discontinuations and questionable branding over the years (seriously, who asked for a brand named Flesh?), I do hope that rung their bell and made them rethink their stuff. Their powder eyeshadows, their eyeliners, their mascaras and face powders are questionable at best. If you are not going vegan or chasing a bunny stamp at least have some more blockbuster products.

Hi Em, when you got that bronzer out, I got an idea for a video… Showing a collection of products that are highly pigmented, and when you put them on, you’re like WHOA!! I’ve had that happen to me with certain foundations, and blushes, where I’ve actually had to wash it off and start over. Just a thought. 💖

Hi Emily. I have been following you a long long time (since the pink room) and most times I never comment, but here's two great things that happened. I had to go to Subway today and order your BLT salad. It's delicious!!! And I found 2 of the Emily Needs palette at a Marshalls and I bought both. I already have one and it's become my signature look, but I have hit pan on 3 of the eyeshadows. I will probably go back amd look for more. I don't ever want to run out of that palette. Thank you, you bring a lot of joy to my day. I talk about you to my family as if we know each other personally. I tell my daughter or sister "well Emily made me buy it". 🤣.
I would love to see a review of some of the tarte products, blush/bronzer cream products, new mascara.

I have one of those new Covergirl lipsticks in the shade Darling Mocha and I LOVE it! It's a nice warm, toasty neutral shade that looks sooo smooth and beautiful on the lips, and leaves my lips feeling so nice and hydrated even once the color wears away. I also have been a huge fan of the Fit Me tinted moisturizer since last summer; now that it's hot where I live, I've been falling back in love with it all over again. I think it's especially great for super oily skin like mine; it stays looking so fresh and lovely all day! I hate that it got so much bad "buzz" on UA-cam when it came out; I feel like that probably turned off a lot of people who might have otherwise liked the product from even trying it. Thank you for another wonderful video, Emily! 💖😘

Hey Emily! Your bravery is so inspiring! That eye look is beyond words, and I really appreciate the turn-on for the new RT brush! I have the Profusion Desert Sage eyeshadow palette and I don't think I can remember having so much fun with those summery shades! So thank you for pushing me over the edge with this new palette, you're a dangerous habit! Thank you also for a new non-junk food item from a fast food "usually junk food" place! It seems you know lots of survival tips from outside the world of makeup too! And, as always, thanks for your boundless energy in finding these wonderful things to share with us!

I know that makeup is your specialty, but I was curious if you have a favorite nail care routine lotions, oils, polishes? With the amount of hand washing and sanitizing I do it's been difficult getting moisture in my hands and around my nails.
I like ordering through the apps. You can customize your food order that way and see all the options. Most fast food and restaurants have apps.
I LOVE my Revlon blush. I have it in a more pink shade and I use it all the time.
I'm completely here for the bacon 🥓 conversation lol...it makes it feel like we're just hanging out together.

Hi Emily! First of all, love your videos always. I worked at subway for 6 years, so hearing you talk about subway made my ears perk up, I love it!! At my subway, we would always chop up the bacon, and it should only be a 6 inch portion, so 3 pieces!! Don’t be afraid to tell the worker what you want!! :)

Hey, don't know if you'll read this, but when I saw the thumbnail I had to stop your other video and open this video because your lipstick color and eyeshadow look, OMG, looks so good! You look beautiful. Whatever technique you used for your eye look and also the colors, you should wear it every chance you get lol because it's truly incredible on your skin!! Sadly, alot of people never think of Revlon. That's why they're going Chapter 11. I would have thought they'd be too big to fail, but let's hope they can pull out of the mess. Almay, too - it's always been Revlon's corporate "little sister," and I've always gone to both brands for any lip colors I want. Start stocking up now!
@@MyCleverHandle Revlon has let me down with a crapton of discontinuations and questionable branding over the years (seriously, who asked for a brand named Flesh?), I do hope that rung their bell and made them rethink their stuff. Their powder eyeshadows, their eyeliners, their mascaras and face powders are questionable at best. If you are not going vegan or chasing a bunny stamp at least have some more blockbuster products.
