What an awesome idea! 👌 I loved looking at your journal. 😍 Keep this in mind 💡 and hopefuly make my own one day. 🤗 Thanks for your inspiration. 😃 Kind regards, Guylaine
Thanks for sharing your journal. I am well and truly inspired to have a go at making one. I have found a great beginners tutorial from ‘ Fab crafts and more’ on how to alter a ready made book into a journal which looks easy to follow. I think I will have a go at that for my first time, instead of making signatures and sewing them in. Stay safe and well all of you. Lovely work, as always, lots of love from over the sea, your English freind Sarah. Xxx💖
That was a great flip-through, very inspiring. I liked the way you rip the edges of the postcards and it looks good. I am definitely a careful-cutter so maybe I should try be more casual! Using the Nat Geo mag is a good idea, I save old calendars to use as scrapbook papers. You can get them for £2 or less in February and you have 12 pages to use!
So happy to see this flip through today - I’ve been so interested in your journal and seeing what you did with it. I even put down my stitching so I could pay full attention! I’ve done these types of journals with vacation photos and now am inspired to do one for stitching too!
Yay! I'm glad I finally got around to filming it! Now I need to stitch up a BUNCH more smalls so I can get more pages done. I hope you do one for stitching!!!
Hi Michelle! Why not let your journal get thick and big like old journals and ledger books? When you are done filling up your journal you can put big heavy books on top to compress it. Just a thought. I really like the way your journal is coming along! Stay safe and well! Tracy from Pottstown, PA
Hi Michele love your vlogs I have a question but not about your journal. You use Pattern Keeper but what do you use it on. I tried to download it on an iPad but no joy. Thanks Keith
Hey Keith, thanks! I use Pattern Keeper on a little Kindle Fire. It took some doing to get the app store on there but hubby figured it out. Unfortunately PK isn't available for apple yet. I hope that helps.
You can take out the signatures, the pages, without a problem. I just got back from visiting my sister so I will try to make more books and put them up for stitchers. Amdrake63 on Instagram. I believe I will keep the price the same for you guys as a thank you. Michelle, the book looks soooo great! One more thing if you cut the signature out, just cut the waxed thread to the inside of the spine, if you try to pull it out you could damage it.
AMAZING! I'll watch for the books and help let people know when you post them. Of course I think EVERYONE should have one, lol. And thank you for the tip on pulling the signature out. I may try to take out two? And save them for my next book! I'll probably message you to ask questions before I take the leap though.
Thanks for the flip through, Michelle. The journal is fabulous. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Kristen! I super love it.

That's true!! I could just let it pop the seams, right? That would be so funky. I may do that! Thank you
Very nice!
I got a junk journal off if Etsy by Itty Bitty $27. I love it, I plan on doing an IGTV maybe late tonight
