I got a cell phone at 12, but it was because I was in SO many extracurriculars and taking transit/walking. Plus cell phones were so different back then. I’ve got all the teenage girls around us and I can see the TikTok nonesense and bullying/etc through that. I got into enough nonesense from having access to fan fiction and message boards on the computer! Congrats on the finish, it looks great!

Blackwork is a specific technique where the front and back are supposed to look the same. Yes, traditionally done in black, while redwork is done in red. Most people think it's just back stitching and it really is not.

I think Curio Cabinet Crafts has some free black work hands patterns for when I’m ready to try them. I love what Urban Stitches does with black work but it fries my brain

That 13th big skein is my favorite! I'd be tempted to use it as the sole color in the scarf, or at least the dominant color. 🧡🧡🧡
