Easy HOMEMADE Apple Roses | Puff Pastry Apple Tarts

I made this recipe. Need to cut the apples very thin. I found the microwaving didn’t soften the apples enough. I ended to sautéing them in butter. I sprinkled the cinnamon sugar on the pastry after I cut the strips. I also spread a bit of a spiced apple preserve on the pastry. Apple butter would be nice too. Took a minute to master the rolling-first apple wanted to pop out. I took to a party. They were terrific. Super reviews!

Gorgeous!!! someday I will make these, yours has been the best video of them thus far! I love the idea of dusting the cinnamon sugar on the worksurface before laying down the puff pastry. That was excellent!
I think I’ve watched a dozen recipes like this all week, and I have the same question all of them: can I freeze the apples after they’re sliced? I know, puff pastry can be brought out of the freezer, and then if I can thaw the apples at the same time or a little later, after they already sliced, then assemble, then bake?
