I love the analogies! I can scream for an hour or two if I am doing a session, but first wrong move, breath support, tension and I hurt myself, everything after that is down hill!
Haha congrats. You get a 1000 points for that. Yep. A video about breath support is on my list. Don't know when I'll get round to it yet, but it'll come. Your and Matts comments just bumped it up the priority list :)
Hey Bob How much time is appropriate for daily vocal training and how many days do I need to rest, knowing that I want the maximum amount of training. I am in dire need of developing my voice. Thank you ❤
This is very personal and you'll need to experience this for yourself. If you start out with sports, you can't train for long times, but professionals can practice for hours on end (although als they need rest). My advice: start with many short sessions. Stop before you notice fatigue. That way you can get the maximum practice hours out of any day. Slowly build up to longer sessions if you notice your voice can take it. I'd try to take at least one day of vocal rest each week. If hoarseness/pain/strain stay for long after sessions, or even the next day, you need rest (and maybe better technique).
Hi, Bob! I'm looking for a new singing teacher to help me with things such as stamina. Any way to reach out to you for private singing lessons in the Netherlands? I'd love to hear from you. - Melody

I've been wondering that myself haha. But I must confess: this is not my first try at recording videos. Tried and "failed" before. Thanks!
