- In this video I share with you some of the lighting features of my Ranger Raptor. From the interior lighting to the Zone Lighting feature. The LED Matrix Projector Lights are great for night driving, and I have included some night driving videos to share with you.

Thanks for this. First person to show the ambient lighting. Ford does not. Dealership couldn't tell me where it was. Very limited info on it
Ya, the ambient lighting is really not that great, but at least they are there for the front passengers 😆
Hi there you forgot to mention that you can turn on and off the zone lighting via the ford app on your phone. I have had mine since late September and love it with no issues other than the updates via ford

New 2024 US ranger raptor owner here. How is the battery life with ambient lighting on? Can you run them all night while camping?

Are the auto dimming high beams any good? Do the lights actually turn as you turn?
The auto dimming high beam is actually quite good, works well. The Headlights does turn when the car turnes
Had a ‘22 Maverick Lariat and now a ‘21 F-150 XLT RMT Overland Edition and the auto dimming high beam technology sucks on both of them.
It’s constantly flashing other drivers. And if someone is waiting to turn, it won’t sense their car. Which means I have to manually turn off the high beams.
Hopefully Ford spent a little bit more money for better technology in the new Ranger.
Sorry also the auto main beam is awesome if buying the wildtrak would recommend getting the matrix led lights as I think it comes in a tech pack where you get the B and O sound system too for not much extra
Do you like the B&O? I don't seem to find it that good compared to my last gen Raptor 😆
@@phrankeeecars I had a 2020 wildtrak previously so way better than that but I’m happy with it I’m sure there are better after market speakers out there that would maybe be better

Does it have rear fog lights? Where are they located? Im thinking about buying one here in US when it becomes available and plan to retrofit the European tail lights to have rear fog lights for snow storms and such. Miss that feature in my Audis. Very rare in US.
I think it has, all modern cars should have rear fog lights. When is it going on sale in the US?
Is the ambient lighting standard across all ranges or only on Raptor? Is it color changeable?
Yes, it's standard, and the color not changeable, and there are no ambient lighting at all for the back passengers, they probably try to cut cost...

In the last week there seems to be allot of reports of various problems with the Rapture .
What is your experience so far , any problems at all ?
I really want want and I’m super close to placing an order but I must admit I’m slightly hesitant atm .

I haven't experienced much glitches actually, it's been a good experience for me so far, and I think most of the problems that were reported are electrical or software issues, those can be resolved easily with a software update, so I am not too worried 😁
what problems are those? is there a link to read of those problems report?
Are the lights on the roof (inside the vehicle) LED lights? And Ae the numberplate lights LED lights too?

I'm from spain, here it has 290 cv. In your country how many cv has your ranger raptor? And i'd like to know how many km you can usually do with a full tank. Thak you
Sorry, don't quite understand what is CV? The range is around 400km, not great huh?
@@phrankeeecars ufff. 400 It's not much. Cv it's the car power. With the diésel raptor i hope can do more km. But I imagine that the power Will be worse, like the first gen ranger raptor.
@@juandiegocarrionrios8373 there is no diesel Raptor, only gen1 Raptor has a diesel engine. GEN2 only comes with a petrol v6
@@phrankeeecars here in europe, the New diesel ranger raptor Will come in this year too. With a 2.0 similar to the first gen. It's not the power that yours, but i hope can do 700 km with a tank.

Does the dash and centre screen dim? Also, does the centre screen have a dark mode?
I am no too sure about the dash dimming at night, but the infotainment screen has a night mode. Are you planning to get one? 😄

Nope, not the NZ version, but to be honest I really don't think it's a function I will ever use anyway 😅
