Father & Son from BC Canada to North of Portugal riding all the red black trails by Weride

Darren and his son Dash 11 years old came from BC USA to have some fun mountain biking in Portugal.
No need to say they rode all the red and black trails very easily and jumps were their thing. What could you expect from this kid that rides A line in whistler?!
It was a pleasure to meet Darren! He is a trailbuilder in Pemberton with a very positive vibe and a young spirit on and off the bike.
We started riding green trail for warm up and then change to pink and horse trail to get more speed and enjoy small jumps. The rock was next, slow and techy, but with an air jump that made Dash very happy. After climbing a rocky road we got to the top for syndicato trail. This trail has the best views and is covered of boulders and granite slabs.
It’s lunch time and we went to a local restaurant for some delicious portuguese tapas. Cheese, bread, salad, pork cubes, fish, turkey beef…fruit and coffee.
In the afternoon we decided to go for the oldest trail, the primitivo, the one that every enduro rider falls in love. Then we went for Samantha Fox trail, curvey and bumpy with a lot of flow and finishes with a jump section. For the last trail of this day, gravity was chosen and put some a big smile on Darren and Dash face!
They loved our trails and made them feeling at home with so many boulders and slabs.
