The reason Ms Betty was so good is because she knows it all -- been around for many years and knows how to do all the roles without difficulty - "expert knowledge." "Let me know what you want to do" gives others back power and ownership and takes away fear and trepidation. :) Nothing is better than having a cool, easy vibe especially if you are the one that is senior. Humility always goes a long way.

But after a year being at my current airline, I’ve realized most senior mamas/papas tend to be the nicest & most chillest than ppl who are new hires or less than 10 years in. At my airline, senior is considered 35+ years 😭

I swear I saw a dusty FA leaving behind a cloud of asbestos as she walked down the aisle
And napkin lady --- she was too busy paying attention to your work she could not get her own work done --- if she saw the man was having issues --- why not give him some more napkins herself --- see the problem and take care of it?
