One of your best videos ever , passion and humbleness were the true ambience of the interview, wish the bivers all the best and full respect to mr. Biver for raising such a great son that looks so high at his father in a world where new generation rarely appreciates the great journey of the father and want to extend his legacy.

Very sorry to read some hate comments, after such an interesting double interview. I love the watch, it is very classy and modern classic, very easy to wear, and has sporty casual looks as well. Also it has a brand personality but still feels familiar in some ways. The only distracting part are her eyes…they literally made me blush.
I really wish they start launching new models and the brand can begin making real history.

Jean-Claude Biver shouting to the world what an incredible person he is : check
    Minute repeater : check
    Tourbillon : check
Stupidly high prices : most probably
Ok, does this make the watch world a better place ? Not sure

why does the watch need to make a world a better place? Does my $10 casio make the world a better place?

i admire the man! He is a legendary figure in the watch community/trade. However, the design (even though it’s up to one’s own jurisdiction) is not exciting. It does not add real value to this trade flooded with independents and micro brands. Nevertheless, I wish him success!

To chase a personal dream , to achieve a personal dream , to follow your heart and mind and to be proud of what you are offering to the world is something to be truly admired for .
The only problem is it’s yet another mostly unobtainable piece - I hope JCB does a final piece dedicated to the general public along the lines of MB&F piece

Many would not mind JCB creating a watch for the general public. But why should he? There is no lack of obtainable fine watches out there. He is into high end watches, and wanted to make create the ultimate watch, in his mind. Gather all experience and impulses through 50 years into his new brand, and final project.

The outside look is just a side note regarding this kind of watch, more or less. It's what's inside one pay for, what one can't see, evry part finished to perfection)

If you don’t have any real piece to show on the video, I would not call it an introduction. 40 mins of really non interesting talks about pieces that are not even there…

Im trying to be Civil, this brand was to much anticipated and the watches are not looking something special, it is a very wasted chance to step the whole watch world to another level, which JCB did, he is souch a revolutionary and changed this world, it is quite hurtful to have this delusion

    • @j.m.4444
      @j.m.4444 Рік тому +7

Looking at watches is the least of issues, any watch blogger can do that, but getting a in depth interview with both Biver's like this, is not for who ever. Don't worry, there will be plenty of looking at the watch in seperate videos

Meh... I did not even realize that they revealed their watch. Just had a look online. I have no idea about the specs (sounds fully equipped), but design-wise, I am really sorry to say, it looks like a mess. So aggressive, so thin and bold, "fragile" and "vulgar". But not in a nice way.
The good thing on working on other brands, is that most likely, they have a raison d'être, that they may need to refresh, remind, update. I fail to see Biver's (the brand) raison d'être, as all these nice tag lines, stories JC narrate, are not infused in the watch's design.
    Utterly disappointing.
