Sally Jessy Raphael - Stephanie Zimbalist, Tommy Tune, Honi Coles - "My One and Only" (1987)

It's unfortunate that I failed to record the entire program but I had come upon it in progress (34 years ago!) and then scrambled to find a VHS tape. However, since I don't see this episode anywhere else on UA-cam, I chose to upload what I had.
Here is Stephanie Zimbalist, Tommy Tune and Honi Coles - the 1987 touring company for "My Own and Only."
I'm fairly certain the episode aired on September 3, 1987.

Soy fan de esta actriz, desde hace muchos años. El próximo 8 de octubre cumplirá 66 años tengo grabaciones en VHS de producciones de televisión 📺 que aquí en España las emitieron en diferentes cadenas de televisión. A parte de su carrera televisiva, tiene una trayectoria en el teatro impresionante de echo es la gran pasión de su vida, en resumen una grandisima actriz y estoy seguro que una excelente persona.

@@starletmaster9822 Que bueno encontrar personas que admiren a esta actriz. La verdad esque ya se pródiga muy poco, muy recientemente a participado en una película de cine independiente Lucky Louie fue en el 2020. En teatro no se que proyectos tendrá, creo que la última obra teatral que a echo fue en el año 2015, de título Living on Love, interpretando a una diva de la ópera, creo que es la última que a echo y luego protagonizó una hermosa película de cine independiente His Neighbor Phil, interpretando a una mujer que padece Alzheimer se estreno en enero de 2016 pero es una película que me encantaría poder ver, pero está muy restringida es muy complicada de poderla conseguir, se hizo para agencias en Estados Unidos que están muy involucradas con el tema del Alzheimer.

Fan desde que la vi por primera vez en Remington Steele a los 5 años. Desde entonces he seguido su carrera y he visto sus películas siempre que se han emitido en España. Sería maravilloso poderla ver en directo en el teatro!!

Thank you. I love Stephanie. I had the chance to see my "One and Only" with Stephanie and Tommy when it toured in Chicago. I had pretty good seats , near the front and it was such a delight to see the wonderful production so close. Thanks for uploading this ep!

I saw My One and Only 8 times.....4 in L.A., 2wice in Orange County, and 2wice in San Fran., including his 1000th performance in 1986 in Frisco. The female leads werre Sandy Duncan and Lucie Arnaz. One of the key lines in the show is: "we don't get too many 6 foot 6 white tap dancers in here..." When I told my mom about the show, I asked her if Fred Astaire could tap dance, and she replied "COULD he ???" When the show was in L.A. Honi Coles and Tiger Haynes were interviewd on the radio about the show and Honi told the same story about how he got the name Honi, and how the show had made a tour to Japan.
