@@JackJones-ci5se lol... it's a great exposure unit for sure. So here's the technical reason why I think the ropes or strings on exposure units are not necessary. The frame of the screen does not make an air tight seal against the glass. Therefore the rope on top is irrelevant most of the time. But it does not take much effort to lay the rope over anyway right?
