- The Hybrid guitars are the perfect instrument for players looking for an authentic guitar sound with more compact dimensions than a conventional classical guitar. Their hollowbody construction features a solid spruce top, back and sides, that enhance its delicate sonic characteristics, providing a balanced and focused tone, while the onboard preamp lets you hook your guitar up to an amp, PA system, or mixer, to amplify or capture your performance. And thanks to its thinline design, you never have to worry about issues such as feedback, which normally plague acoustic instruments when amplified. A cutaway increases playability by providing easier access to the upper register, all the way up to the 21st fret. The Hybrids are modern instruments with a traditional heart!

Thank you for the video. I heard the sound and i bought the acoustic guitar.
I love it, the sound is better than my yamaha silent guitar, and the most important is that I don't get tired in my left hand playing barre accords and I don't need to use a capo.
I usually play four hours without a break and its not hard for my hands.

how do they sound acoustically? Looking for a thin acoustic but don't want to always have to plug in
How does the Hybrid Steel sound acoustically, could it be played (and sound good) around the camp fire with ought an amp?
don't think so, most likely it's a little louder than default electric guitar(like hollowbody)
even tho it's beautiful vintage-ish piece
I too would like a definitive answer. If it's usable unplugged I'd like to see (and hear) a mic'd up demo.
how does it sound when unplugged? is it much louder than the "Custom Line Nashville Nylon NT"? I'm interested in using it for classical practice at night

It kinda has more of an SC shape than a hollowbody shape.

It's a pity that the neck profile of the nylon string is 5.2 mm wide, it could have been narrower!

But I already have 12 guitars, about half of them over 100 years old, grand piano, vilolin, viola, lira, each over 100 years old, banjo, arpeggione... I thought I'd buy an electric piano now, perhaps double bass, or some drums, I haven't played drums for ages. Oh well. I guess I will get them all, I paid off my mortgage thus I have too much money anyways. I like the nylons. I find them easier to pick tremolo with.

I've been desperate for an affordable alternative to the acoustasonic or Taylor T5. Most instruments/amps I gig with are under $500, I just can't afford to spend $1,000+ on a hybrid
