- Titleist staff member Mark Blackburn is here to help you develop the right approach to dialing in distances with your wedges while providing some great insight into a sure-fire technique you can also add to your golf game. A few of Mark's keys include:
• First, you need to know how far away from the pin you are.
• Second, you need to have a reliable technique that allows you to make consistent contact and flight the ball the same way every time (within reason).
• And third, you need to know which wedge in your bag, hit with your reliable technique, will match the distance required.

Kudos for leaving in the 1/2 club short and air mailed shots - would've been easy enough to edit those out, but it does show that truly dialing in wedges isn't easy!
Agreed. Loved that aspect of the video.
My thoughts exactly. Titleist is all class though wouldn’t expect less. Tik Tok golfer would have only left in shots that either went in or lipped out.
Looked like he swung harder with the 50 degree which airmailed the green. But yes, nice they didn't edit this out. Good stuff!
strange he went from 2 to 4 divots in one shot tho….
Great Video, Well Explained.
Great video
I’m pretty sure I can come close if I get three swings, too 😊
Mark Blackburn is a legend!
I have 58 54 and wedge and I only have one yardage that I know which is a full shot, I take a full swing with every wedge but slow down the speed of my hands to calculate how far the ball is going to travel, I have tried the clock system before but with that I struggle with distance and spin I feel that with the clock I get to much spin for certain shots and with a full swing but with slow hand speed I get the correct spin for the yardage that I want
manchester lane is so pure
Dialed in 😎!
Shaft lean is a byproduct of proper technique. Trying to "gain" shaft lean exposes the leading edge. Moving the ball back further exposes the leading edge. All are a recipe for digging and hitting chunk shots. You must use the bounce properly.
Soooo
Is it a 54 or a 52 lol
Great video, terrible sweatshirt. #stopthehoodies
