6mm is about the biggest id go for everyday wear but I wear my shit to bed, in the shower, at the gym, in the ocean it never leaves my body. So like 100g even is way too heavy for me because I wear it all the time and that just gets annoying

A lot of people don’t like box clasps. The one on your chain seemed pretty sturdy tho, and the snap was amazing. I personally like box clasps, but i know they can wear down over time.
Is the weight of this chain uncomfortable for daily wear? Looking to move forward with a 22” solid 14kt yellow gold 7mm that will weigh about 85 grams. As it will be my first solid gold chain, I’m very concerned about the comfort of the weight for daily wear. Don’t really want to go down to 6mm/ 59~ grams as I don’t like the appearance as much. Thanks for any input!
Hi, great question. I think it’s subjective depending on the person, but 8 mm for me is totally fine for every day wear. At the same time, I personally wouldn’t go above 8 mm for every day wear.

Very nice ! I got a 17MM Cuban 24 inch. Weighs about 425 grams. I want a smaller 6-8MM for more practical days. Smart decision
