Finally someone that compares same mm width. This is nice. I have a problem with comparing 2 or more companies but sizes like 4mm against a 10mm. You just can't compare them like that. So this vid is a breath of fresh air.
I agree with you about the imperfections in handmade it gives character same with wearing the higher purity gold with the scratches n dings I'm having a 10g pamp bar made into a pendant for my chain I'm excited to weather it a bit 😄
Great video and explanation without leaning on either side, IMO Garcia Jewelry Miami GJM makes a banging hand made Miami Cuban at a level that's really amazing, I've purchased six chains from Within about four months of this year 2023 that's a lot of cash but the design, materials and workmanship are stunning. Both three one after the other white, yellow and rose all over 300 grams in weight and they are stunning. GJM and don't look back, no stress marks, cracks or pits like many others and the file sharp with uniformity thru the entire chain.

Great video. Guys Villa is a legend in these Cuban Link streets. Guys makes excellent gold and silver chains! Rey is also on top. It's that old school look that I like and Daniel is more for a new generation, I love gold and the look of bold necklaces.
I have a 25 inch 13 mm Rey’s Gold and cash chain and I love the craftsmanship and customer service . They are the best in my opinion but DJI is a close second . I have one of their bracelets in a 10MM at 7 1/2 inch length
I like the sleeker look from DJI, I may be biased because I own a DJI Cuban. Both are good looking but Daniels definitely has the edge.

Hey I commented on one of your older videos and said that my Gus Villa chain had issues where the links where so tight that the chain would not bend at all in some spots. I just wanted to add that I had at least 7 flipped links and once I was able to correct it that the chain flows perfectly. My 10mm from Daniel has a much sleeker profile and doesn’t kink nearly as bad but I love the extra weight of my 10mm from Gus.
What do you think of 18k 10mm for a bracelet?

Great Comparison on both. I have on order a 610g 18k 24in from DJI. I decided to go with DJI because they truly are the best in my opinion. They have the experience and length of business where as GVJ has only been doing this for 6yrs or so. At some point I will get a GVJ chain or bracelet but for my 1st chain I had to choose DJI. Keep the vids coming, another 🔥 video.

I went to the best, And Im definitely getting the best. I did call a couple weeks ago to upgrade it, but it was too far in the process to upgrade and start all over. I can't wait another 2+ months, so I just left it like that. I'll order a bracelet next, but have to upgrade my safe now because of this chain, Ft. Knox Titan or Liberty Presidential is what im looking into which is $11k+ more I gotta spend.

Great video. Only thing I will dispute is the weight and cost part . I noticed Daniel's being less in weight than a fee vendors but cost more . They charge a premium for the name I guess. Garcias jewelry seems to be the all around best after looking for a chain recently. Best quality and price. Have been doing it forever as well. Look into them and let us know your thoughts . I would have to disagree with you on Daniel being more expensive and being less weight. Daniel, Garcia, and Gus Villa are estimated about the same weight and Daniel comes in the cheapest. Granted this is for a 14k 10mm 7.5” Cuban link, other styles, karat, and sizes may result in a different outcome.

Seen them both in person. The Gus villas is just nicer. I love the thickness of the gus villa and the color. Daniels is flatter, had the opportunity to buy a Daniel cheap used from a jewelry store. Spent full price on one from Gus. 12mm 8.5” sapphire button with a nice engraving. Paid top dollar but it was PERFECT!!!

I have a 22in 14K yellow solid MCL from DanielJ’s and thinking of getting another chain to stack. Im 5’7” stocky and I’d appreciate your opinion on stacking chains. Thicker or thinner below or over? Whats a decent gap between 2 chains? Howbout other types over MCL’s? Thanks

Man this the video everyone looking for. Personally I love both but Gus IMO is more my style. Just depends on what you want and how long you want to wait. Personally Gus's customer service is on point and I love their videos and podcasts. Gold Fever would be in the convo but its a year to make 🤣 I have a Figaro from DJI but I'm telling you Gus is on the rise he keeps this up. I'll be waiting on your chains. I'll buy one simply because its you 😊

I like the look of tighter links much more than links put together where there is airspace creeping through. Even if the price between the two remains the same, or close, the tighter, more solid look appeals to me and my wallet much more. Ric. 😊❤

Personally i think that people that work at DanielsJewelry is just absolutely rude over the phone aint no way in hell i will be spending or purchasing from them for the money you spending there should be a certain kind of customer service that you should receive
Both are nice! Just not a fan of them being dipped. I'd definitely request the non dip look for mine 😎 other than that they're both 💯
They’d look very different if not dipped - plus they’d lose that extra coding of protection that wares off over the years anyway . Thought I feel ya

Just my personal preference thats all and yes both companies make flawless jewelry. I own a few. Not by them but still beautiful as well. 😎

I got a DJI 7mm and I don't see the hipe. It have noticeable imperfections all over the chain, lups everywhere, and looked orange in color. I wasn't happy with it at all for the minute I opened the package and sent it back.

ive never had issues with chain weight ive worn quater kilo and half kilo chains daily silver and gold never had any issue what soever i dont get this hall thing were people say they get extremley heavy to me they feel easy to wear what i can say is that they get annoying especially when its hot weather but as far as having neck pain i dont get that hall aspect of it and im 5ft10 170 lbs
I get neck/ shoulder pain if I wear 160 grams up+ for 5+ hours. 100 grams is usually my sweet spot for everyday wear :)
damn thats crazy maybe because im in the gym lifting several kilos almost daily when i pick these cubans up they just feel like nothing dosent bother me at all btw do you have any gold over silver cubans?

for the same 7mm 24" 14k cuban link, gus is 2k more expansive where daniel is only 4.8k
And I’ll pay that extra $$ any day to get it done in 10-14 days rest assured quality is top notch with adequate, warm and transparent costumer service. Not sure but last time I checked it seemed DJI is actually pricier

GVJ is way better... no question. I have both, and GVJ is just a nicer chain. Tighter links, better file, and better customer service
Problem with gus jewelry is that the site only sells 10mm Cuban links and up on the bracelet, with Daniels you can go as low as 5mm , but Daniels has the worst customer service ever they always have an attitude and treat customers like sht
I've gotten 7 mm and 8 mm off gus. All you got to do is email the guy. That's what I did and it got the ball rolling and I was in constant contact with him the entire time.
