I have been doing this the wrong way my entire life. When I used to go to Jama Masjid during my teenage years and ask the chefs there about the recipe they told me different shit every single time. Then came youtube, I saw a lot of recipes and combining all the gatherings from various online and offline sources, I framed a recipe in my own head. And it worked really well for a long time. But when I saw this recipe and the way he explained the science behind it, I know I will make a nihari that will surpass all me preparations ever. My favourite dish of all time is explained here so well like all his recipes. Thank You Ranveer for this enlightenment.

Ranveer why are you cooking in mustard oil? as it is very bad for one's health. The oil contains 20 to 40% erucic acid, which is the same you can find paint thinners.
It can only be used for external purposes. For internal use it's not recommended. The FDA (Food and drug Administration) has banned use of mustered oil in United states.
Please let the people know through your channel, the use of mustard oil.

I cooked this on Friday. Cooked for 5 hours over slow flame to eat it on a Saturday.
    Taste - 5/5
    Satisfying - 5/5
    Ingredients - 4/5 (wasn't able to procure 2 items)
Definitely worth a try. People will love it. Use less kewra water if you're not used to that smell.
Thank you so much chef RB - I love you and next I'll try is mutton dum biryani....

Made Nihaari for first time using this recipe, truly loved it!
Mindblowing recipe for anyone wishing to make it for a dinner or a daawat(originally it is made for breakfast)
And the best part is the way he delivers the recipe making users understand as to why a particular ingredient is added and its effect on their recipe and most of all, he does not waste time promoting products!

    Dear Chef,
Can't thank you much for presenting spices we've never heard of. I have to thank my mother because she permitted me to take charge of the kitchen and try out this recipe. All credit to Chef Ranveer Brar. I'm a graduate of HM and believe I have to learn so much not from researching online but from people, places and books. Thank you again. 😊
P.S. - Today is my mother's birthday and yet I retain confidence in comprehending the cuisine of India and worldwide.
