- So I decided to get air shocks instead of regular drop shocks because sometimes I bottom out on big dips even if I’m going slow and now I could raise the bed like about an inch

Pro tip use a grommet on the hose at the back of the cab my line rubbed alot and cut a hole on my dually's bags other than that good tutorial
Monroe uses the small line so the air doesn't go from one shock to the other in the turns. The stock lines are trouble free and immune to age and rot.
Sorry I just seen this and I actually never had an issues with the air lines they looked pretty cheep but held up great for the 2 years I ran the shocks

How does it ride vro is it still bumpier? Do you bottom out? Or is it smooth
It’s a little bumpy but not as much as long as they have air and it does not bottom out
So the side of the fittings that go on the shocks did this screw on with no issues is it the right size?

My air shocks valve connects inside the gas tank door. And the only hole I’ll be drilling.

are those shocks regular stock size or drop shocks?
They can get pretty big but with the weight of the frame and bed mine stay pretty small giving me about 2” and a half of clearance between the the frame and diff
About how many inches does it go down
Like half an inch man

@@BuiltTrucks I’m on 3:6 drop I’m not notched and I hate frame all the time ima try out some airshocks and hopefully I don’t hit
@@JorgeRamirez-hr6pe I don’t hit at all bro unless I’m going fast asf and it’s a really bad dip but rn during winter they kinda suck cuz the air comes out because of the cold 🥶
@@BuiltTrucks bet bro thanks you for the info because I have some shackles that aren’t stock they drop me to about 6.5 in the back and I only have an inch before hitting frame and I’m not notched yet I was just wondering if airshocks actually did a good job
