  • After our miniature train ride we spent a lot of time looking around the model village,you just cannot imagine how much time goes into building these houses and gardens,even the railway is run like the real thing and all the Bonsai trees just amazing.Sorry about the odd shake all my videos are taken hand held these days.

    I always will remember coming here as a kid and being forever fascinated by the trains and models and would never want to leave, shame I grew up in some ways as it gave so many days out with fiends and family and never got bored

    Thank you, you got quite close and let us have a good look, I have been to Babbacombe and is fantastic, not much on Vauxhall park, London, miniature cottages but that is where I used to look at 60 odd years ago and it is still there.

    What a fantastic model village. They must have everything you can think of scaled down to view! One 'lady' even cleaning her window!

    I used to bring my children here in the 1980s now my grandchildren. This place is wonderful never mind the scale! Who cares anyway. Let your imagination run wild. Whether you are 3 or 103 this place is superb!!!

    That's very nice, some lovely little details like the working crossing gates. I like the scale trees.That feller up the ladder would worry a health & safety person though.
    They used to have (maybe they still do), a model village near here with a railway and things. They had a building on fire with firemen up a ladder too, but it sprayed actual water when you pressed a button! What fun that was.

    • @wooltman
      @wooltman  8 років тому

      +AndreiTupolev They have put a lot of thought into getting this right havn't they Andrei,the railway was all work from it's own signal box as well.Rosie spotted the guy up the ladder so had to take a shot of that.The house fire was great and I agree a button to spray water would be a good finishing touch.........Regards Chris

    Hi Chris,another great video in 2 days! It was very impressive in it''s scale and you really did it justice. I particularly liked the houses around the village Green.It is strange I did'nt see one of these when I was a youngster.It must be a wonderland for children,and a great day out.Regards Geoff

      +Steve Lewis Video Channel. I thought I had overdone the shots of the railway but after watching it again it looks about right.We had a great morning at this Model village and railway,we would have stayed longer but we had a tight schedule so off we went to Watford only to find out the railway wasn't running.Never mind we had a nice walk in the snow showers and we got attacked by two parrots,but that is another story!!.......Regards Chris.

      +Steve Lewis Video Channel. As we walked through the park we noticed a guy looking up into a tree,he said he had never seen that before and before we could say what! two parrots flew down, the smaller green one landed on my shoulder,it then took a liking to my nose!! The Macaw a large red and blue one landed on the ground,they were very tame so must have escaped from somebody's house.Rosie didn't worry she just wanted the camera to film the nose removal operation!! LOL.
