      Yes, riders that experience first time crossing this shallow water fords can't imagen how slippery they are. Reason why I want people see this video and avoid falling.

      drumsnbass My good friend, thank's. It was a real challenge to accomplish it on my big beast ja ja. The only problem I had was that with a big bike on deep sand you need to ride very fast and I was olways thinking that if I had a fall at that speed with such a heavy bike it could smash me into the ground. Thank god I did a clean trip. Regards my good friend.

    Great video. One additional tip on crossing slick water/roads. In addition to what you stated, rider should stand up on the pegs while crossing slowly. It improves overall balance and lowers the point of input to the balls of the feet instead of at the seat where imbalance has greater consequences, as demonstrated in your vid. Also, riders should get training/build riding skills before going. :-)

    Great vid! Curious as to tyre pressures used with the Anakee wilds on GS1200 in sand and rocks as seen in vid. I've got all sorts of opinions with tyre pressures. I'll email you for track info. Thanks ! Dave 🏍

    • @javiermexico1065
      @javiermexico1065  5 років тому +1

      Dave. I am used to have the tires hard, for rocks, sand, and dry surface 2.3 bar front, 2.4 bar rear. This will protect the rims from bending, or damage the tire specially when you are in the middle of nowhere. And great pressure even for paved roads.
      On wet conditions, specially rocks I find anakee wild tires slippery, maybe becouse they're pretty hard, I haven't tested them with lower pressure, I prefer to go slow than to risk my rim or tire. Hope I answered your question.

    Watch on mute.
    Great video and ride. However, the music was annoying and too much of it. Would've been nice to hear more sounds of bike. Cheers tho!!
