    I’m training with a wooden one made out of a couple popsicle sticks, works great but a bit light. I have extra metal so I’ll probably use that for weights

    My girlfriend learned to do the roll in like 5minutes.. I was speechless.. I could barely open it correctly 🤣🤣 She is far from mastering the roll but still took her five minutes to get it like 1 out of 2 times.

      He did the zen rollover into a basic open in this video. Tho he for Adobe reason called it the Y2K, which is the vertical version.

    Fun Fact: Your lego Balisong is exactly the same as my lego balisong. It even has that additional blue connecter at the very tip of the T shaped grey piece.

    Y2K is easier than the entire rollover imo.

    The y2k rollover is the vertical version of the zen rollover(you are doing a zen) I’m a beginner too

      Nope. The y2k you are holding the bite handle in the beginning and the horizontal one is the y2k thumb rollover. The zen rollover is the one you do holding the safe handle so the blade is coming quick so you have to do a wrist pass.

    If anybody wonders about speed of basic open: it's same as opening switchblade, my pal checked it with times on his knives, there's no difference between balisong, switchblade and spring-assisted knife.
    BTW tip for people training with sharp one if you really have to; if you don't know side just slowely imitate movement of knife during trick first to check most probably moments of blade touching your hand and start trick in such position you'll get hit with dull side. That's whet I do and it workd well enough for me to not need medical help
