I just bought a Balisong from them, just a cheap 30 dollar one and man it is phenomenal still. Perfect balance and everything
How much was you chanell alpha beast
@@idkwhattoputhere4755 is it a bear and sons?
Its always so fun when u practice for hours and nothing happens, next try its just clicks and u can actually watch the second half of the video
My balisong fell and it hit the like button xD I’m not kidding

Jack Song agreed
I actually accidentally did this a few times trying to learn the y2k
I accidentally and automatically do the zen rollover whenever i try to do a y2k. -_-
Gypsy_Magic y2k and zen rollover are 2 different things how can you mess up
Btw nice pfp
I find y2k easier
Gypsy_Magic yeah once I learned how to do zen I do it when trying y2k
Me: sees the slow mo, me: I can do that,me: tries knife: I can flyyy
whats worse? flinging it downwards or upwards? both
@@simon20002 upwards = almost hitting ur eye
downwarda= hitting your foot
Upwards because you don’t know where it will land
Me: learns way of making comments without starting everything with me:
Yep
This has been the hardest trick for me to learn. I keep messing up the twist
SAME!!!
you're not alone broo
REEE same
i cant do this, and i know how to chaplin and do the helix
glad im not the only one. Problem is i wont goto the next trick until i learn this im stubborn like that, and also want to do everything in order in this playlist so i know which ones ive learned
damn i forget how satisfying it is when you get a cool new trick
Yo big flips, you should make a new line of videos (like how you have beginner, intermediate, and advanced) but make it called combos where you show like a line of moves comboing together. Would really enjoy that
SAM MASON Exactly
i will make some more videos on combos eventually! if you look at some of my earlier tricks like behind the 8 ball, helix, y3k, you will find that they actually are combos! the key is using those transferring moves in between other tricks. best of luck!
Big Flips yo were do you buy your knives?
@@BigFlips my hands are small and not that powerful,so is the benchmade51 the best choice for me?weight is not a problem cause i love my nautilus
Why is it that when I
attempted to do it accidentally catch the safe handle with my pinky
Hi everyone!
I'm learning this trick now and I'm finding it not so easy to learn. Here are some tips that I got along the way:
1) After you learn the basic move (before 2:05), change it a little by completely releasing your index finger right before the handle hits your thumb. This should cause the knife to spin around your thumb and then fall. Don't try to catch the other handle yet!
2) After point 1 go ahead and try to catch the other handle. If you find that the knife just falls too quickly, try to repeat step 2 but while releasing the index, make sure that your thumb is near the top of the handle because it works as the pivot around which the knife rotates.
Hope this helps
thanks for advice it really helped i am still learning this trick and i cant lie its pretty pretty hard
@@ryuk6028 u got it?
@@ripreq589 yeah i finally did i started with butterfly 3 days ago and i finally got it right
have a great day, bye.
Holy shit thank you i was wondering why my knife flies outa my hand when im spinnin
I am happy to see that it helped, thank you

I cut myself with a trainer
max ebers thats kinda sad my guy
@Butterfly Knife TutorialZ yes I'm getting a sharp one and that's not going to go well
he makes it look so easy
'release the safe handle and pull the blade towards yourself'
I already know how that's gonna end 😂

I consider knife/bladed weapon tricks and usage to be an art form lol. I just got my first ever personal (as in my own, not like a friends) Butterfly Knife today, it’s only a trainer one, but I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve been interested in ‘em my whole life and now I can actually practice with one.
I hit my wrist bone so hard
Same
How do you get it to not hit your wrist bone
Same
It doesn’t hit my rust but it hits the side of my thumb he makes it look easy to move your hand to get it on the tip of your thumb I tried it hit the side of my thumb
Really cool move. I like how the spin around the thumb, like an index roll on the thumb can lead to hold it closed with handle upward and follow to a y2k rollover. Had to succeed the spin alone first to master the full move.
You’re like the best tutorial channel for Bali songs, so thanks so much.
I love how in all these flashy tricks you catch too late or too early and you hold the blade :)

Alexander Newton: *heavy breathing*
Takes a good dedicated hour to practice but definitely a fun trick to do! Thanks Big Flips!
No way this is beginner level
Super nice brooo!!! I was doing all the steps at the same time with you and I understood everything so fast! U are so good explaing 🙌💖 peace
This guy deserves like 2 million subs!!! I've learned every trick I've seen on his channel!
ay thanks for watching! we 2 mil soon enough friend!
I'm really loving your tutorials. I'm not quite intermediate level yet. But I'm getting close and I'm starting to be able to string moves together thanks to you. You make learning how to flip easy and less scary. Due to stupid laws in my country it's not that easy and takes time to get a Bali but luckily I've got 2. An old jaguar which is incredibly heavy. And a kick-ass Titanium from exiled cutlery which is incredibly light. I honestly prefer using the jaguar even though my knuckles take a beating. Lol
Anyway great job on your videos. Keep it up!
Glad you got it figured out! Thanks for the support and thanks for watching!
I'm getting back into knife flipping, this one is the trick that I'm having the most trouble with! Definitely one that I've cut myself the most. My problem isn't exactly with technique, it's more about getting the timing right and remaining consistent, as the 2/10 times where I succeed it always feels out of luck.
Dude honestly, I love you so much! Thank you for all those tutorials. I've started flipping a few days ago but I can clearly feel the progress!
One way I catch it with the blade facing away is RIGHT before I catch it, I spin the safe handle in between my fingers. For a little pizazz, you can use your index finger to latch it together, definitely one of my favorite moves.
i bought a training knife. its also a tuning fork so it makes a little noise. its weighty and feels really good and i like it. but ive watched so many tutorials on "simple" tricks and i have no clue whats going on lol... UNTIL YOURS. i preformed a passable imitation of this trick after watching this a few times. you explained it so well! thank you!!
Hey Mr Big Flips. Love your videos. For this particular move I can't seem to make it a smooth transition from grabbing the safe handle to flicking the bite handle back up to catch it, so it ends up looking less fluid.
Mfw I hold the wrong handle and get cut
Damn 8 years
I held the right handle but forgot it was the bite handle and did a normal open. Needless to say, my thumb hurts...
I accidentally flung it at my face
Use training knife
WaTeR LeMoN thanks for the advice for past me
thank u ive had my trainer for a month now im this help me learn the trick pretty easily
I'm new to Butterfly knives but your videos sure are great, thanks alot
This is the first trick I got cut on. I couldn’t do it on my trainer but got ballsy on my real knife and could do it. Did it about 15 times and then grabbed the sharp side of the blade instead of the handle. Oof
Didn’t even get cut while doing the actual trick lol
I'm now a fingerless child
Isn’t a trainer one with a dull blade?
Spl2ter so why would you not be able to do it with a trainer? It’s just the same thing but with a dull blade.
(Edit: spelling)
Seems like a nice trick, imma try to learn it
Update: guys help, my knife became a satelite
thanks for your videos dude, it really helps me train to get an actual butterfly knife so i dont have to use the trainer anymore.
Best sounding balisong
I can do zen rollover already and it is in intermediate move in your playlist, but this move is beginner move and it's harder, I got a one normal and deep cut in my pinky right now, but I will learn this move no matter what!
It’s literally just a vertical y2k and is so satisfying when cleanly done
It’s a y2k that but moving clockwise instead of counterclockwise which is why the ending is upside down
Took my 2 hours to get get a 70% success rate (I tried 10 times and 7 out of 10 worked) for me. I got the balisong yesterday.
Omg I did it thx you so How much for the video it helped a lot I I did a Half orbit and it’s so cool
Hi i did penspinning till i see this very awesome Knife Tricks thank you Dude❤️🤜🤛
Got it first try thank you !
I’m so glad I decided to spend one hour making a balisong knife.
If you have difficulty you can do a double roll out with the safe handle for beginning
Aw sweet! Thanks for doing it.
thanks for watching!
On the first try did it but it didn't touch my thumb, it was just a reverse aerial 😂
Woahh thats sounds better than what your trying to do here!
@@janreycastillo3842 woah it's been 2 years since I started flipping, incredible how time flies. Now moved like this are really easy n stuff, crazy
@@paulburns6779 Yep time flies very fast just a year ago i started flipping and now im on intermediate tricks :)
@@janreycastillo3842 ah that's good, I think I'm about at advanced now, cats, giraffes, and chadders are no big deal now
@@paulburns6779 Oh ok nice im just in intermediate of ferris wheel im learning it right now!
how did you get your alpha beast, bladehq never has these in stock anymore
I got the spin down, but i keep grabbing the blade, and not the safe handle
Felven learn to y2k first.
i know y2k and zen rollover.
I ran into that same problem too at first. I found that the trick is to: 1) try not to rush it at first and let the safe handle lazily roll over your thumb and 2) stretch your pinky finger a little further inward to get in between the safe handle and blade.
And with that, you're gold.
so you dont have the spin down
This is my favorite trick its simple but nice
So easy yet so clean
Thank you I did all the beginning trick
i cant do his version smoothly but i can do variations of this where instead of holding it in a ice pick grip i hold it in a normal grip at the end
Even tho i don't know how to do this...
I love this guy
Thank you brooooo
Awsome tutorial
Bro i like this style
Best tutorials I swear
Favorite intro ever
Easiest way I kinda taught myself to learn them faster was getting more comfortable with each step meaning doing each step over and over again until you feel comfortable to move onto the next step and once you’ve done all that put ‘em together and it’s gonna feel more natural trying to do the whole trick all together, learned this one in ab 15 minutes maybe closer to 20?
This was very helpful thank you I am a beginner
This helped alot thanks
Thanks I learnd fast
Thanks so much took me half an hour but worth it
It took me so many tries but I finally got it!!lol
Thanks bro
I'm using this as a new hobby and a fidget toy, should be good
I love ur tutorials fkin amazing ty
I think I flipped the knife in the air and caught it upside down trying this like perfectly that looked cool
Thanks

Your the New Spy for the Team Fortress 2 now!!!!!😃😃😃😃😃
This is one of the most hardest thing I've learned being a beginner
It's been day 2 there's been a progress but still way too far to master it
Its been a month since i haven't practicing balisong im too busy from work sigh*
I believe in you man i myself started to seriously try yesterday and i gave myself a week to get better than my friend. Hes been doing this for 1.5 years
Its all about giving yourself a time limit
Update?
it's soo much harder than thumb roll
This is the bane of my existence.
So dangerous yet so addicting
Great video. This was my first day ever using a ballisong and I learned this trick in like 45 minutes
how :((((((((((
@@orange_cow20 just flip the shit in your finger with this thing called gravity (i cant do it too)
I got it!!
Got pinched twice at the back op my thumb at the same spot this trick is wicked
Thnks
I came across so many balisong tutorial channels but you explain the best. I also loved your Jesus's video. Please upload videos more frequently. Love from 🇮🇳 India.
i guess this is where i need to upgrade my 10$ ali express knife to something more durable.
when i pinch even a little bit, the handle *bends* making the knife stuck, how fun.
Had me at alright my dudes
i let go a little to fast and through the blade at my face
oops
This trick has no business being on the Beginner level, literally learned most tricks except the ones that require this one 💀💀
JUST got this trick down. Super stoked. Still a little sloppy, but I'll keep at it.
great work dude thanks for watching!
y2k is vertical and a thumb rollover is horizontal. So what's it called when you do a half orbit horizontally instead of vertically?
god damn it even on a 10k channel i can't be first ;(
lmao
Big flips can you do octane balisong trick from apex legends tutorial pls
its more satisfying doing the trick for the first time perfectly
ive been doing this trick for ages without knowing it existed
Thx
yo bigflips u should make a tutorial on Octane's balisong trick in Apex Legends
It feelt very cool when I did it
Thanks now I can commit seppuku in style :)
Today is my 2. day learning with balisong, I am going to come back to this this once i am little more confident letting go of the knife. I can already tell this is going to be my new favourite hobby
How are the tricks coming along?
u ok dude? did u die-
Just got my razor sharp knife time to practice.
This is my only trick I know how to do cause for me it was sorta easy
great
I don’t even have a butterfly knife and I have 2 exams tomorrow why am I watching this
I've never learned a move other than one I figured out. This is the first I've actually learned and it's a great video I picked it up really quickly!👏👏 Feels good man 😎
idk how i can easily do behind the 8 ball but struggle on this. i just need to get it down so that i can do the short stop
