Hey there our favorite people!! Not being able to post last Sunday wasn’t our plan but as you can see from today’s video…the days got away from us! Ty joked in today’s video that this isn’t Extreme Makeover: Home Edition…while funny, it couldn’t be more true. We do our best to show up here every Sunday but this is our real life after-all. You can always check the community page here on UA-cam, Facebook or Instagram as we’ll always let you know if the project got away from us that week! Can’t wait to see how many of you guessed the pop quiz on which garage we went with…honest guesses only, no skipping ahead!
I went with option 3. But that was a flip of the coin. It was what I would get for myself. So looking forward to see what you do with it. So many options.
I wish I had your level of organization. I unfortunately cannot bc I have both of my parents living with me and my sister and her boyfriend in a double home. Things are everywhere I wish I could do projects to fix up my house but I have no where to move anything to to even work on a room. I bought my house in Sept 2020 to get out of my parents place and they followed me by selling there’s and now I am stuck feeling depressed and not able to feel the freedom I wanted. I got back into building Lego just to relieve my stress and get away to my own headspace it helped a little. Sorry about the long rant but I just wanna say you both inspire me to want to do so many projects with my place that I cannot wait until I have my freedom. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face every Sunday
Love it so much. I’m in the process of reorganizing my studio and I could really use your help, Todd! I love organizing, but it does get overwhelming. Enjoy your beautiful new garage!
"I don't mind the mess but my husband thrives on organizing so ... I surprised him with a 10-door shipping container and racks to organize everything and then helped sort everything." I call that love.
Move the keepsakes to the temp controlled room ASAP. You will regret letting them freeze and heat. The photos deteriorate so fast. These are obviously precious to you and they won’t last long in there. 😮
I would’ve chosen the four-door also and I think it looks absolutely amazing, and will make life so much easier for y’all!! Can’t wait till next Sunday. Have a great week. Love, your Texas grandma.❤
I may be a worry wart , but have you considered a security system? I mean, I love it when you guys show us a completed projects but it also shows everyone how many expensive tools you have etc. Like I said, I am a bit of a worrier but....
wow, I was just think that and your comment appeared, with so many deliveries and everyone seeing what you have, I would definitely have a really good security system in place
So glad you got the one with doors ❤. Make life very nice. Can't wait until next week. You are always surprising me. Stay safe and enjoy life as ya'll seem to. Loved seeing the fur babies.
Hands down with the 4 door Option 3. I’m a Virgo and anal as “F.” (Pun intended, mates) Loads of love to your babies and to you both. The organiser/container is so amazing! I’m so happy for you. Missed Squirrel. Could you please tell me the name of the flooring that you laid in the storage container, please? I’m very interested in it. Hugs, Gans
As a Capricorn ♑️ and “type A” personality I really appreciate this episode. You two are the really life “Heart-Stoppers”. Your authenticity is inspirational.
Yes I agree with everyone the 4 door container is the best makes things easier with lots of open space, easier access and you can always use it for something else in the future if you want to build like a “cottage” , Airbnb etc👏
Love the new storage container. To protect them from deteriorating, photos and keepsakes are best kept in the climate controlled shed u til you can move them to the house.
I let out a cheer when I saw that 4-door rolling in. SO much more convenient to have doors that open out all the way down than one long "tunnel" with a single entry point. In my mind I was thinking I'd divide the 4 sections in zones, one for Christmas decorations, one for stock-up items, one for this and one for that. You really nailed it. Todd was like a little kid at Christmas, his excitement was palpable. Good job Tyler making the hubs a happy boy.
The best line from the video....."if they have another container like this it would make a really good cottage some where with all these windows. Cut the doors off, glass in it, sliding doors, BOOM, cottage, lake front." Love me some T 'nT Sunday video with the adorable supporting cast members.
Tyler, you are such a wonderful, and thoughtful hubby. I've never heard Todd so excited. His mind goes a thousand miles a minute. Everything looks outstanding.
That was all SOOO awesome! My dad would be so proud to call you two guys his sons! All that organization would be his dream! Honestly, getting that container with all the doors was a stroke of genius! It's amazing and you've made both it and the workshop look fantastic and so easy to use. Well worth the work it took! I'm sure that you'll be glad you did it for a very long time to come. One thing I noticed, when you were in the garage container, you were showing some photo albums you had. Are you sure they shouldn't be in the climate-controlled building? The paper and photos might get wet during the winter, and they might get moldy. I have some really old family photo albums that I'm needing to deal with now that have grown mold and you don't want to have to deal with that.
I was thinking exactly the same about the photos! I really hope someone tells them or they read this. I think the danger of condensation is real with the temperatures in Canada and the photos might stick together and be ruined that way....
So sweet that you wanted to make Todd happy with a new garage/storage container. And judging by Todd’s exuberant tour it seems you succeeded beautifully! Well done Tyler, and well done both of you for making another much needed improvement to your homestead!
I’m glad you picked the 4 door . Maybe in the future you could attach a lean to shelter down the other side or both so you’d have a covered area to leave the tractor and snowblower . ❤
I can't believe it's been YEARS already. What an incredible adventure it's been to watch the two hardest working guys (Charlie, Eddie and Squirrel too of course) on UA-cam, build this amazing dream.
Hi guys. I live in Washington State in the shadow of Mt. Rainier. My dream is to live in a tiny home. Hopefully one day. You are both my inspiration. ❤
I just love you two and your three furry kids. I so wish i could meet you two and hug all five of you. You just feel like family. Wish i could be your adopted mom or grandma.😊😊 Stay healthy and never give up on dreams. Love you.😊😊
Wow. That's huge. This small thing is major. Good call on Tyler for making it so. This was obviously a looming issue and obstacle that needed solving asap. Todd is back in his happy place... Happy spouse, peaceful house. Another great video - worth waiting for ;-)
Great organization! As a side note, you will want to get your photographs moved into a temp. controlled area as soon as possible. Photographs will deteriorate in heat.
I just love how you guys do things for each other, but even more how much you love it when you surprise the other one. You take a lot of joy into making each other happy, such a wonderful example for all couples.
Now you should get those magnetic screens for garage door openings, so you don’t have to worry about bugs in the summer, when you want the doors open and are working on projects.
What a game changer! The shelving in the new container with incredible amount of weight it holds is HUGE! The storage and the workshop will be gifts that keep on giving year after year. The amount of labor and thought that went into organizing your spaces is quite overwhelming. A job well done.
Monty, I take whats behind door 4 of the shipping container. winner winner 4 door shipping container. I have one question how did all that fit in a travel trailer? Seriously you have gotten everything out of storage. I know it's temporary, but please don't leave photo albums (or any media CDs, DVDs, Vinyl records) in the an unconditioned container, change in temperature and humidity will chip away at a lifetime of memories. You weren't exactly taking easy by not filming last week, boy did you guys rock.
Well I guess you selected the right container. Have to laugh because Todd was talking a mile an hour. He obviously was happy with what you did. I applaud you Tyler that you saw an issue that bothers your partner and resolved it. That is love.
Tyler you did a A+++++ job selecting the container!!!! And you weren't kidding about Todd's organizational skills - he was so excited and joyful about organizing every bolt, nail, and tool. Now I have to work on my space which looks a lot like the scene in which Todd can't find anything in the storage unit. True story. 😵💫
I love it gentlemen! I love that you are so passionate about your home brew too. I’m in recovery so I don’t drink but I can still appreciate the science and art that goes into creating it. I love the container!!! So many doors makes it way easier to move items in and out. Just open the door closest. If I am ever able to afford a piece of land, I might get one of those to make into a tiny home. Vanlife is good for now though. I’m enjoying it. I just need to learn how to let things go because I still own way too much.
Yay. You picked the one I liked. It's very cool with the doors. It looks fantastic. And Very organized.. That was so sweet you did that for Todd❤ y'all are some hard-working men. And it shows everything looks great❤😊❤ I enjoyed this video see y'all next Sunday❤❤❤
Well, I would have picked option 3 as you did. If it’s for storage, then multiple doors is definitely a huge plus. I am type A also, my wife type B. I completely understand Todd’s need for organization. Too much clutter actually produces anxiety for me. ( I didn’t realize that until a couple of years ago. I just knew I needed things in their places, like yesterday 😂!). The garage looks fantastic. It’s always wonderful to keep your spouse happy. You make a great couple and are an inspiration! Keep up the great work! ❤️
4 doors would be my choice. The work shop is wonderful! I have never seen such a large tool chest. It is so nice to have an organized spot for everything. Great video guys.
Perfect choice Tyler! An organized life is a happy life. One word of advice. Put the photo albums in the climate controlled workshop. Changes in temp and humidity can really destroy photos!
I have those Canadian Costco lights under my kitchen counters here in the US. Totally awesome! No dirty on off switches. No need to wash dirty hands to turn on lights. They have a built in dimmer switch too. Love the organization!!!!!
In a rush here. Loved today's video. Thank you for it. Just want to mention that you may want to find a better place for your photographs and keepsakes that use paper of any kind. The vents will let in moisture and the photographs and paper as well as glues are very reactive to temperature and moisture changes. Something to consider. Have a fantastic week. Hugs to you and the babies.
Pinky toe is totally correct here. I made the mistake of storing documents and books in unheated storage many years ago and in no time had to toss all of them because they became full of mildew. Lots of precious memories went into the garbage bin. And please please keep your photographs and paper items inside your home where the temp and humidity are controlled. This is really important guys - I hope you see this.
I freaking love you guys. So glad to see a video today. Y'all are so very worth the wait. I love how much you understand yourselves and each other. You show everyone exactly what a healthy relationship is. That may be partially why I encourage my daughter to watch you, besides feeling empowered to do research and things on our own (safe things we can do). You both are such good examples in so many different ways.
Wow! Good job lads! That's exactly the storage container I was hoping you would go for HANDS DOWN the best one. The thoughtfulness of you, Tyler, to give Todd organizational space because that's part of his core being was lovely to see. Coming up on 27 years of marriage I can say that it's those kind of thoughtful acts of kindness and intentional love that see you through the years. Every time you mention this or that thing from 2 or 3 years ago I'm reminded how time flies! I found you just before Covid and at that time went back to watch every video forward so I feel so very privileged to have watched you grow The Land. Again, well done lads!! 💕
That is awesome guys!! I'm an organizer too and I love what you did! It will make life so much easier and Todd will know where everything is now!😂 oh I picked the 4 door container too! I've never seen one like it before but it's great!💜🌈✌🤗🇺🇸
So cool! You may want to think about keeping your keepsake photos in the temperature-controlled space, though. Extreme heat and cold could really screw with the photo albums!
Brilliant idea. I've never seen containers with 4 sets of doors, but PERFECT for what you need. I totally agree with Todd - things need to be organised and tidy - workshop wise. Earlier this year, I emptied my tool cupboards and sorted everything out, and also got rid of so much junk ! Great video as usual - keep up the good work and take care 🙂 X X

I would have went for the 4 door, because you can easily separate ...but I think you went with the 20ft.
I went with option 3. But that was a flip of the coin. It was what I would get for myself. So looking forward to see what you do with it. So many options.
Looks great. I would have picked the same one more doors are always good. We always love to be more organized. Lots of love, see you next week ❤️❤️❤️

"I don't mind the mess but my husband thrives on organizing so ... I surprised him with a 10-door shipping container and racks to organize everything and then helped sort everything." I call that love.
I even threw in a garage floor for him, c'mon now
YES❤
You knew exactly what to get for Todd. He was ecstatic with your choice. You're such a loving husband.❤
I thought the same, how nice to have a partner who goes out of there way to do things like that.
Good choice and awesome team work🎉
That 4-bay container was hands down the best choice you could’ve made! I’m a bit jealous of all that storage space.
Definately a Ditto here, especially the extra doors! Laurie. NZ.
Exactly gives you 4 organized sections
Move the keepsakes to the temp controlled room ASAP. You will regret letting them freeze and heat. The photos deteriorate so fast. These are obviously precious to you and they won’t last long in there. 😮
Option 3 - Side doors just make so much more sense.
Who would have thought that a new slick shipping container would be such a loving gesture to make Todd SO happy?! You nailed it, Tyler! ❤
I would've been happy with ANY container tbh...can't get over how cool the 4 doors are, coolest container ever!
@@tylerandtodd Not gonna lie, I have shipping container envy and I don't even have the room for one!
You two r so kind to each other lovely couple
@@sharondamisch4856me too! I would love to have that much organization!😍

Yes... cottage time 2025 with another five door container... Love it!!! Thank you both for all your energy and inspiration!
4 doors, bc you don’t HAVE to keep ALL the doors clear and much easier to get things out if you’re a Type A having to deal with a plan B 😅
So glad you got the one with doors ❤. Make life very nice. Can't wait until next week. You are always surprising me. Stay safe and enjoy life as ya'll seem to. Loved seeing the fur babies.

As a Capricorn ♑️ and “type A” personality I really appreciate this episode. You two are the really life “Heart-Stoppers”. Your authenticity is inspirational.
Hope you won the 4 bay container-I think it would help organize the tools & decorations.

Love the new storage container. To protect them from deteriorating, photos and keepsakes are best kept in the climate controlled shed u til you can move them to the house.
Of course you bid on the Four Door as we have come to expect nothing but the best. Love how it is arranged and Todd is obviously thrilled! 👍🏼♥️🇨🇦
So it is climate controlled ?
I let out a cheer when I saw that 4-door rolling in. SO much more convenient to have doors that open out all the way down than one long "tunnel" with a single entry point. I would have picked the four-door container also. Todd must be in organization heaven.
You are so great boys ;-)
Lots of love from Roquebrune Cap Martin-France XXX
Watching you two constantly reminds me not to wish things were easier but to make myself better!!!💪💪💪
That sounds similar to a great quote from the late Jim Rohn. 🤍
a great Acquisition...a good Move..Bravo
I’m glad you picked the 4 door . Maybe in the future you could attach a lean to shelter down the other side or both so you’d have a covered area to leave the tractor and snowblower . ❤
3 so convenient for all different tools in each without dragging stuff out of the way 😊

Fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻💖🐕💖🐕
YOU CAN MAKE A WALK-IN FREEZER/COOLER (in one of the partitions) AND IT HELPS YOU STORE THE GARDEN'S EXCESS FOR THROUGHOUT THE YEAR PRESERVATION
What an excellent vlog! I am a little OCD myself so very much understand how Todd feels....
You guys are just simply awesome!
Love y'all!!!! ❤❤👏👏👍👍
Love y'all. Wish that your show was longer. Looking forward to y'all every Sunday.
Seeing Todd so excited about organizing fires all my neurons too LOL. Love the love and support
Always!
Happy Sunday guys 😊
Happy Sunday, Michelle!
Omg! You have so much stuff! And, it's super organized. Great job, guys.
Thanks so much! 😊
The garage is amazing!!! So glad the obvious choice was the 4 bay door container! And to have a working workshop is fantastic!! Great job guys!
Gentleman, Get your wine rack out of that direct sunlight 😢. Absolutely inspirational!🎉❤❤
Congratulations! I'm envious of your storage and organization. That was a ton of work. It looks great.
Perfect choice Tyler! An organized life is a happy life. One word of advice. Put the photo albums in the climate controlled workshop. Changes in temp and humidity can really destroy photos!

Love the organization!!!!!
I was hoping it would be the 4 door - so nice and convenient! As always, nice to see MEL!!
4 door is what I would pick. It’s perfect for Todd.😊 he can be so organized. 😊 Wow, looks fabulous!
Thanks for the Sunday inspiration. I always look forward to morning coffee and my fav internet couple. :)
Option 3
the 4 sections could organize seasonal stuff, or holidays soooo good
The organization is so nice on the eyes! I can imagine how much anxiety you've relieved yourselves of 😊
In a rush here. Loved today's video. Thank you for it. Just want to mention that you may want to find a better place for your photographs and keepsakes that use paper of any kind. Also me: Ooooo, 4 doors on the long side!!!
I would pick the one with the doors.
Todd looked so happy doing the tour. He talks fast when he’s excited. It’s so sweet. That was a very thoughtful thing to do Tyler.😊❤.
I love that you want to make Todd happy… ♥️…that’s beautiful…🤠
That lakeside cottage idea sounds good 😅. Keep going!
Boom! Cottage! Lakefront! 😂😂❤
Congrats on your success in your new storage space. Kudos!!!
I also chose #3...good choice Tyler!
