Tour of the Chelsea Physic Garden

Join Anne Edwards, a volunteer at the Chelsea Physic Garden, on an exclusive tour around one of the world's most historic and beautiful botanical gardens.
Founded by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries in 1673, the Chelsea Physic Garden has had a long association with medicinal plants. In this short film, you will learn about the important role of plants in medicine historically and up to the present day.
The garden’s location in the heart of London on the banks of the River Thames enables it to grow a range of unusual plants and trees, including the largest outdoor fruiting olive tree in the UK. Please join us on a tour of one of the most beautiful and historic corners of Chelsea.
