Chelsea History Festival - 2023 Highlights
Founded in 2019, the Chelsea History Festival is a partnership between the National Army Museum, the Royal Hospital Chelsea and Chelsea Physic Garden. Its aim is to entertain, educate and inspire through local, national and global history.
Every year, the Chelsea History Festival brings the past to life through an immersive programme of events, featuring a brilliant blend of storytellers and performers from different walks of life.
The festival’s venues are all situated in the heart of Chelsea, along the historic Royal Hospital Road. This is the perfect place to contemplate the past and its continuing significance in our lives today.

    Regarding pilot quality, it’s worth noting the cavalry ethos as well as the wins of the consecutive wins of polish pilots and engineers (specially Żwirko and Wigura) World Touring Competition - Great Depression somewhat

    10:21 they were also quite run down by high pilot flight hours Aircraft development accelerated hugely in the late 1930s, so they were somewhat obsolete in that sense- once with cutting edge potential but with some issues, liek accepting the dead-end French doctrine of ‘infantry support planes’ that were vulnerable to fighters, as well as not focusing on modern air sueprity fighter development (vs strategic bouncer development etc)- so there was a moment of ebing cutting edge which was difficult to support overall, over time - they were obsolete but for economic reasons, so this is further from the truth than relaity The diplomatic corps were also the state
