When I was 9, a couple of my cousins actually convinced me that I was a vampire, and I thought it was so cool. I wandered over to my grandmother to tell her and she told me that vampires aren't real, this made me so upset that I cried and held a grudge against her for awhile 😭 can't believe she'd crush my dreams of being a real life vampire smh

Some girl I knew (that I'm pretty sure had a crush on me even tho I was afab,) tried to convince me every other year she was like a mix of something, it went from werewolf to vampire to whatever else.
Anyways I remember she used to force me 2 wear a bracelet and hold her hand walking down the school hall because "ghosts can't steal my soul" or something lmao
On an unrelated note whenever I accidentally started dating this boy I *DID NOT LIKE* (that's a whole other story), she took the ring he gave to me "borrowing it" and "lost" it in the sandbox the next day, and I wouldn't be surprised at this point if she just didn't like me being with a boy at the time. 👍
@@theofficialgoofygoober reminds me of my friend in primary school that would tell me that the bathrooms were haunted, she also drew pictures of her burning the school down… she was a crazy kid haha😭

When I was a kid, I thought the sound of the garbage truck coming by was thunder, so I'd look out the window and be so incredibly confused that it wasn't raining. I didn't even register the fact that the garbage truck was always there, or that it happened roughly the same time same day every week
Kinda same, but it was whenever my dad would go and roll our garbage can up or down the driveway on trash pickup day lol
Had a similar story where I thought I was gonna prank my friend by pretending to knee her in the stomach, but pull away last second.
Only she had the exact same idea so what actually happened was that we kneed each other in the knee caps at max force.
One of my neighbors growing up was a woman who had two kids. Her youngest was three years younger than me. It's so weird to have her in college now because she did the weirdest things as a kid. They literally would have rules they'd come up with that no one should say like: NO BUTTER ON THE FURNITURE, NO POOPING IN THE YARD, NO EATING CANDLES. It was a riot when you'd catch one of these mythical stories in action.
When I was a kid, I thought the idea behind mopping the floor was to put as much water on it as possible using the mop and bucket. I was so excited when Mom let me mop. I had a massive puddle spanning most of the dining room going before she realized what was going on and stopped me.
0:18 Good thing that kid never watched Teletubbies! Mr. Noo Noo made me tempted to put pudding in our vacuum as a kid 😅😆
i don't like sunlight because it depresses me, but when it gets dark i forget that i was depressed hours ago. i love gloomy weather.

Same but I'm from Oregon where the weather is almost always rain and clouds now I'm in another state that has rain in the summer( my favorite) I have few fond memories as a child but playing in the rain on a summer day is one of the best ones.
I’m the same, we’ve had a bunch of random heatwaves in the UK and it’s been really sunny and I’ve hated it. I feel so comfortable in the cold and gloominess of grey clouds and rain tucked in bed with a hot cup of tea
When I was in kindergarten I was genuinely terrified that when I "die" one day, I'll wake up in a grave (like people who were assumed dead but they were actually not). So about six years old me in a public transport asked my grandma to stab me in the heart when I die to make sure I'm really dead 😅
Apparently when I was a toddler/preschool age, my parents got a new VCR (I'm old lol: DVD's weren't really a thing yet). I tried to store my crayons in the tape slot. They melted all over the inside and ruined it.
I shoved plastic toy food in my mom’s vcr multiple times and she kept having to get new ones. My logic was that the vcr looked like an oven lol
I'm a trampoline net era kid, but my friends trampoline net had a bunch of holes in it and i remember somehow managing to get launched directly out of one of the holes and onto the concrete path.

the guinea pig story reminds me kinda of the time when my dad found a dead gray cat on the road and buried it bc he thought it was our cat and didnt want me or my brother to find him. our cat actually come back (he was an outside cat) a few days later and it freaked my parents out for a second before they relized they had just buried the wrong cat lmao

i was real life home alone as a kid, but like everywhere. my parents did not care about where i was therefore i was always left behind and had no idea until they found me, thats probably why i got so much MacDonald's as a kid
I don't like sunlight because I have autism and due to that I have light sensitivity. It's really not that abnormal to dislike sunlight. That being said I really wish I did like it cause it does feel really good when I get past the whole... painful brightness thing.
Question:
Don’t you like even a small amount of sunlight or does there have to be none at all?
I recently got those colour change prescription glasses, they've changed my life. Sunlight normally burns my eyes because of autism and chronic illness causing migraines, but I genuinely don't notice anymore because the change in my glasses is so gradual
I once had a hamster that got out of her cage. She was missing for a week. Then 7 days after she disappeared she showed up in my kitchen much skinner than normal. The guinea pig one is totally plausible.
When I was a teenager, a few of us were jumping on a trampoline and double bouncing each other. I flew up pretty high and when I came down, my chin made contact with the top of my sister's head. She had to go to the hospital for stitches.

when I was a very young child, maybe like five or six, I was convinced that the day I turn 18 I'd both get married and have my first baby. why? because my mom had told me that when I'm 18 I can get married and have kids. my teeny tiny child brain just translated that into both happening the exact day I turn 18. I really didn't have any concept about anything lmao
Hey Joinen, just got around to watching your content for the first time in a few years honestly.
The ending outro song made me feel very nostalgic weirdly enough. I watched your videos a lot when I was a freshman in high school and now I’m a sophomore in college. I’ve spent a lot of time disconnected from my sense of self so in a weird way, at 1:30AM, your video just helped me connect with a version of myself I haven’t come close to remembering in a couple years. Mom was cooking something in the kitchen and I took a raw egg to play with my toy bird. It was mostly rubber, but the claws were plastic. So when the bird was "nesting" the egg, it got poked by the claws. A liquid egg now was on the carpet.
Then I blamed it on my younger sister and she started crying. I think we were 7 and 3 or something around that. I was (and still am) a horrible sister lol

When I was a kid I smashed my moms windshield with my head cause I didn't wanna put on my seatbelt and flew into it when she stopped for a red light lol. She had to sell the car since she couldn't fix it but I was fine 😊
