    I live in the 5th floor of an apartment building. In the living and bedrooms I have a bank of 3 windows. The windows on either side are operable, but the middle window is fixed so I can't tilt it inward to clean it. I have been using a Swiffer with microfiber cloths to reach over and clean the middle windows for years. Works great. My walls have a slight texture to them. I clean them with a Swiffer and microfiber cloths also, but I wedge two damp kitchen sponges between the microfiber cloth and the Swiffer to make it more padded and less rigid. This way it gets into the small nooks and crannies of my plaster walls. Works well on my baseboards too.👍

    If you come across the scrubbing bubbles toilet cleaner kit they are worth the purchase. They are very similar to clorox but have a heavy duty end (like clorox) and a light cleaning end. They dont break apart like the clorox ones do. There is also a scotch brite version of these now that has a wrap around side to get under the lip of the bowl.

    • @RachPlusFive
      @RachPlusFive  Рік тому +1

      I would have to go digging for the video but it’s easy…
      My pack from Amazon had 3 colors and I purchased a separate different color so I had four. White was for kitchen, dining, living room, and general surface cleaning. Blue is for glass. Green was extra stuff like walls, floor spills, etc. Yellow are for my bathrooms, showers, and toilets (I no longer use them on the toilets).
      I like to do this so I know exactly where each one has been and I don’t use one that been on a toilet on my kitchen counter. They come clean in the wash but the thought still doesn’t sit well with me. Hope this helps.

      @@RachPlusFive Thanks that helps. I use disinfecting wipes and paper towels for the toilet because it grosses me out reusing anything after. Good idea, one for kitchen/dining room, one for glass, and one for bathroom. Do you use the kitchen one for dusting and stainless steel too? Have you found a brand on amazon you love? I agree with most of these with only a few exceptions. But I might change your life with one suggestion: the handheld rechargeable powered scrubber. Kind of like the scrubbers you put at the end of those heavy drills except the whole thing fits in your hand. It comes with the scrubber attachment, the magic eraser one, the heavy scrubber, the brush, and a soft sponge one. So easy to scrub things because this does ALL the work for you. I got it on Amazon after I saw some car detailing guys using it.

    Didn’t show what your using baking soda and vinegar for. Looks like you replaced them for scrub daddy paste and method glass cleaner. I can’t find the glass cleaner in stores

      I use baking soda and white vinegar for multiple things… down my sink drains to clear clogs, mixed with Dawn to clean the tub/shower, cleaning my kitchen sink, and so much more.
      I use the power paste for the glass top stove. The Method glass cleaner on my stainless steel (and glass around the house). I find it in Target or from Grove Co. 😊

      That sucks. The Pink Stuff is very close to it.

    I wasn’t personally impressed with the dawn power wash. In fact I tried the dawn and vinegar as a dish prespray and it worked better than the power wash.

    I bought the Ocedar new mop system. I retir returned it immediately. It splashed water everywhere. It didnt make sense the way they designed it. Good concept. But not very good design!

      Thank you for telling me that. I’ve heard several negative reviews but the splashing wasn’t one of them.

      I have a different brand of the spin mop, can't remember what brand but it's blue. The pedal was getting stuck and not going up and down so I sprayed WD40 on it and it was good as new. Try that. Mine is at least 6 or 7 years old and I got on QVC or Home shopping, one of those.

    I don’t understand the hype about the scrub daddy paste. I literally threw mine away! The Norwex paste or even campanellis cleaning paste blow it away. They clean my stove top, oven, showers, anything, with little to no effort at all. I had the power paste first and the difference was astounding. Maybe I was using it wrong?

    • @RachPlusFive
      @RachPlusFive  2 роки тому +2

      When used with very little water, this paste lacks. Add water and it’s wonderful. I haven’t tried the Norwex one but I want to now.

      Sometimes. I won’t say always but I have had luck with a few set in stains.

    You don't need all these products, you do a disservice to those who don't have the funds to buy all that stuff when only a couple will do, the power paste is OK but honestly not worth the price when you have vinegar and baking soda. The biggest waste are those stupid disinfect wipes, you don't need those, that's a marketing gimmick that got your whole generation!

      Folex which is a stain remover
      Scrub Daddy Powerpaste for all over the house
