Can You say something more about modifications? Did you change anything in engine - turbo, air intake, exhaust system etc.? I want to know anything, because I never had a escort td before, only mk5 1.6 8v, mk6 1.6 16v and mk7 1.4, and Im thinking about 1.8td, because is simply and reliable :) Cheers Sebastian from Poland :)
The boost compensator makes a world of difference if u haven't already discovered it too, allen bolt and locknut on compensator, back the allen screw out after un doing locknut, its under a plastic anti tamper cover, it reduces lag massively, the more u back it out the more pre boost fuelling u get, up to the max point dictated by max fuel screw inside; also u can floor it in 5th at low speed and smoke tailgaters out!

How did you modify the fuel pump to make more presure or debit ,is a screw on it?
I whant to remap my escort mk6 1.6L what tuning softwere use? (cant find any tunign softwares for it)

Inside the pump but it can be a hard job you have to drop the radiator and stuff
as you give more fuel to the pump greetings
