I want Agadmator to be at my funeral. Imagine it: "And it was on this day that CybZer0 resigned life. As there is nothing he can do here, I mean he's already dead, you know you can't revive a dead person, but even with the best life choices, it's really only his rival that can push for any advantage. He did blunder his girlfriend in his 20's, OR was it a nice Tal move? It happens, such is the way of life, and such ways are mysterious."
CybZer0 Geezus, this sounds like my life story. Great commentary on your own funeral, good sir, or does that count as a eulogy? either way, can I steal it? Agad?
I really like your use of the word "enjoy". "Take a moment and enjoy this photograph", or "Here they are enjoying this moment". It's a very nice expression, and you employ it in a sincere way. I don't think enough of us use that word to describe everyday experiences, but we should. It is a pleasure to watch your videos. You have a masterful way of expressing yourself.
Entropy, well said. His positive outlook is part of what makes him my favorite UA-camr. I also like that he hasn’t gotten noticeably arrogant Since his channel took off, unlike so many others who have achieved success.

Returning here after almost 3 years because of Mamedyarov performance against Levon. Your channel has grown so much. Looking back, you were the only good chess channel. You sir, has done so much for chess.
I gotta say man, there are lots of chess channels on UA-cam... Beyond your outstanding commentary and on point analysis, there's something in how you title your videos, damn!!! It just grips one's attention UnBielevably. You're awesome bro and your channel is the best, flawless! Keep doing it.
Thanks for the link! I've been watching Agad on a daily basis since he had around 3k subs early last summer. Its incredible to see how quickly his channel is growing. Thanks again!
great game. Mamedyarov has Carlsen on the ropes for much of the game, then Carlsen comes close to equalising, then Carlsen blunders having already given up. Mamedyarov played much of this like a real boss.
I love how you upload on the daily it seems. I'm a new subscriber and a very novice player in regards to chess but this channel is making me want to give it a try.
Has anyone viewed this with closed captions? It's hilarious. "Mamedyarov versus Carlsen" comes out "Mommy divorces cousin", and "Shakhriyar Mamedyarov" translates"soccer mom in Europe". That having been said, Agadmator does the most consistently entertaining chess videos I've seen.
Really enjoy your video's, great content and your analysis helps me a lot. Me personally I'm all about the end game , absolutely love it. I've played speed chess here and there with my children and friends. Still learning about blitz and bullet chess games. Anyways your videos are great keep up the good work. Much love and respect from the 1st coast =) ( Jacksonville Florida )
this is like watching a classico soccer game, but a 100 x more exciting! | Actually, it is more like watching a hockey game - the moves are so fast, you always find yourself way behind the action. Great stuff!
Shakh is from my city and I am so fuckin sorry that he didnt win the candidates :( Sumgait - the city which has more chess rating points than Turkey for example :D
@agadmator as a 1300 player i would really enjoy a video where you do an in-depth analasys of a game of your choice. It could really help me to have things that are obvious to you explained thoroughly once. otherwise thank you for all your videos i have seen soo many :D
After the white king moves to h4, the black rook on e2, and than is controlling the e7 square, also threatening check mate on h2? Sorry for my english. Im waiting for reply ....
I shared a video on my facebook recently with magnus talking about confidence in chess - and its crazy it works, when you believe you lost the game then it will come true quick in chess. If magnus believed he could hold his position even with that king move he probably couldve. He was mad at himself. It happens.
This game shows Carlsen's overconfidence. He thinks because white has played one slightly unusual move, 8 e3, black should be able to waste a tempo in a symmetrical position with 8...d6 to d5 and have an advantage right out of the opening. His thinking reminds me a bit of Fischer's Bxh2 in game one of the 1972 WC match against Spassky, impetuously striking out trying to win a dead-level position with the black pieces and losing. I love the champ's fighting spirit but his thinking was flawed. All 8. e3 meant was that Carlsen could achieve equality, nothing more.
You make it looks like hes being arrogant. Maybe its not overconfidence at all and its just desperation for that point, this was his last chance after all.
Carlsen may not have played to his ridiculous high standard this game, but you got to admit that Mamedyarov played this game almost flawlessly. I wouldn't ever dare to criticize Carlsen, for starters you don't know what his thought process might have been. To call him ''overconfident'' is little bit pretentious, critique like that should not be handed out by someone who is not capable of playing to his standard. Are you a super gm?

Congratulation for Mamedyarov!
Congratulations, Shahriyar. We are so proud of you. Our greetings from Azerbaijan to all chess lovers around the world.
Happy for Mamedyarov, he really deserve it. It was an amazing game.
Shakh...a future world champion!Very underrated :)
Mamedyarov is so underrated
Fried K. Liver, he is not underrated, he is 2808 and Carlsen is 2843 😁.
Currently, Only these two guys are 2800+.
Underrated for you... lmao

I found this channel a few days ago and have not stopped watching it. Love it! Have rediscovered my love for chess
Btw, estimated Mamedyarov performance in this tournament so far is 2904 ..
TimelineUpdates it's 2945 now or may be more
This is really awesome.
So true. I really like his games.
This is the last game Magnus has lost and it’s January 20th 2020 😐
It’s June now and no longer true. But really, NOTHING that was true in January is still true so Magnus is in good company.
@@pathutchison9866 How often has he lost in classical over the span of his reign as world champion ? (I know he loses often in bullet/blitz)

Fantastic! This game has it all, a real high class chess thriller!
One of your best videos so far Antonio, thank you so much !
Great videos Antonio, always a pleasure to learn from your studying these games!
Thx a lot for covering this wonderful game!
You make my day, every day. Keep it up! You are the only UA-camr I consistently watch. Every day.
4:09 move suggested b5 would be a huge blunder as the immediate d6 would win a piece... or am I missing something?
the immediate d6 will be like sacrificing that pawn as the rook will capture it with an attack on the queen

It's rare to see the Champ make an inaccuracy ( blunder? ) in the end game. Mamedyarov is one super tough GM.

Quite the game and tournament. Thanks for covering it like you did.

What a game. I am a 1.d4 player. It's always nice to see a d4 win. Very difficult for me to play e4.
Didn't Chigorin come up with that quote above the board first?

@11:22 can't black play Qc5 to cover the bishop. I don't see a good continuation for white after that.
Great video!
This game shows Carlsen's overconfidence. thernly Poor opening from Carlsen.
Well, Carlsen has said that he thinks it is better to be over-confident than not confident enough.
If I was a 3000 ELO player, I'd be overconfident too
You make it looks like hes being arrogant. Maybe its not overconfidence at all and its just desperation for that point, this was his last chance after all.
