Kerala Onam Vlog 2023 I Onam Vlog celebration with Family

Onam is a vibrant and significant festival celebrated in the southern Indian state of Kerala, and it is a time of great joy and togetherness. Recently, I celebrated Onam with my family at our ancestral home, and it was a heartwarming experience. We came together to create a colorful and intricate Ona pookkalam (flower rangoli) in our courtyard, a tradition that symbolizes the welcoming of King Mahabali. Then, we indulged in a traditional Onam Sadya, a grand feast featuring a variety of delectable vegetarian dishes served on banana leaves. The flavors and aromas of the sadya were simply delightful. To add to the festivities, we played numerous traditional games like Vadamvali, Bun eating, Lemon and spoon, Sundarikkoru pottu thodal etc. It was a day filled with laughter, bonding, and a deep sense of cultural connection, making Onam a cherished and unforgettable celebration for our family.
