- Hey, you guys! It’s been awhile, but videos should be back now! I was hoping to not have to do this and that it would just be common knowledge, but for safety and liability reasons, you cannot come to Holbert Farms. UA-cam is something I enjoy doing on the side as a way to talk about agriculture, but people driving and showing up here is not okay. I appreciate your understanding.
With that being said, new videos should be up as soon as I find the time and caffeine to edit them! We haven’t started planting yet, and the limited time we’ve spent in the fields has honestly not gone well….it can only go up from here, right??

We have a teen driver at our house. The cell phone and radio are absolute distractions when operating a vehicle and she's no longer allowed to use them.. Glad dad was is okay. Welcome back.

Sorry to hear all of that! I'm glad to hear your dad is doing well. As father crazy person, you need to look out for people that live in their own head. I heard a great quote. "The brain is a dangerous neighborhood and you are the only one there".

People need to still keep attentive either on the road, or parking lots. We just lost one of our company drivers yesterday in Ft Wayne at a truck stop. Farmers are out, construction zones,slow moving vehicles are on the highways, People are bicycling, kids playing. Just watch your surroundings, heard on a swivel. Just a few words from someone who drives for a living.

Thanks for sharing. Glad everyone in the accident is OK. I live in South florida now but spent many hours sun up to sun down on a tractor. Thought i reached the big time when I moved up from the 4020 to the 4430 Just to tell you low long ago that was. I was always amazed how drivers react to farm equipment on the road. Car VS equipment rarely ends well.
Great news no one hurt. You are very fortunate to work with family that cares for each other. Do the right thing and blessings will continue to flow to you.

Glad your Dad and the driver are ok.. My most stressful time is traveling the roads with equipment, especially at night, stuff is so wide and country roads are so narrow and hilly..
Sorry for what you had to deal with. Glad to hear your dad is ok. Those accidents are bad due to the vehicles involved with the size and speed differences. I’ve see several tractors split in two in accidents. Thankfully no serious injuries in any of them. Hopefully it dries out soon and the planters can roll. We are in the same situation here in central Iowa.

First, I have been wondering where you were at, enjoy watching your videos. Second, you personal and mental health are the most important thing. Sorry you have been having trouble with a stalker. Sounds like your dad is extremely lucky, that could have been tragic. Glad the boy that hit him will be okay. There are too many distractions for drivers, cell phones, radios etc. Hopefully you all have all the gremlins out of your hair and can get to planting. God bless you and your family, be safe.

So sorry for all the repairs needed... praise God they are not seriously hurt. They finally started planting here in eastern PA. May everything go better for y'all thru the season.

Prayers to your family Erin and be careful on the net, people sometimes mistake kindness as being in a love relationship. Like I told you when you first started your channel, I have a 21-year-old daughter who now graduates from Purdue May the 14th and I worry about her being online all the time. Maybe this sounds awful but so many people are just nuts anymore and my my kids mean everything to me. Stay safe Erin.
Happened to me last year kid digging for his phone. Totalled my sprayer smashed tractor up and smashed me to was sore for 3 months. All the best!

Call in some farm favors and glad dad is ok....please push seat belts. Just look at the farmer who flew out of his combine cab a couple years ago, luckily he survived also. Yall be safe.

My area is rural but the suburbs are expanding into it. Lots of two lane roads with limited (legal) passing areas. People move into the area because things are more spread out, lots of trees, etc but then get annoyed when someone dares to drive a tractor on the road :/. People.. you moved here for peace and quiet and then want to drive the roads like they are interstates :/. Slow down a bit and enjoy it.
When you've gone around a blind bend and found a cow in the road, more than once, you tend to take it a bit more cautiously. Glad your dad's accident wasn't worse.
As for video workload and everything.. you do you. We're all good out here in interwebs land and if we're not, that's not *your* responsibility :)

Stalkers... I hope that's the last of them. Glad to see everyone OK after that... was he wearing his seatbelt in the tractor? Ever since Matt Griggs had his major accident I've been using the seatbelt more especially for roading. Don't always get two chances.

As a successful person who publishes the content of your daily life on the farm unfortunately there are scumbags that will come out of the woodwork. Do whatever you need to do to ensure your safety. I'm glad to see you back on as your channel is one of my favorites. Be aware of your surroundings and stay safe and it's none of my business on your thoughts but a freedom stick should be near you and you should be trained to defend yourself.
Wow it does sound like you and your family have had some troubles as you expressed. So sorry about that. I enjoy your videos and it seems you enjoy doing them also. Glad hes ok, in one night I almost got rear ended with strobes light bar as much as I could, and then 20 min later went to turn left and a guy in a Corvette drove his grandfather's Corvette across the front tire and push bar as he passed to just destroy that poor man's Corvette, these were both a night so how they didn't see me is beyond me. Makes you think twice about roading

Erin, nothing to apologize for here. Take care of yourself first, the farm second, and if time allows say hi to us. So sorry you have to put up with the bad part of the internet. As a retired career law enforcement officer and war veteran I wish I was closer so my fellow cops and I could provide some free security so you can be relieved of that worry. Love your kittens, but it is your farming that keeps me glued to your content. Oddly enough I was wondering about your raccoon situation. Loved that too. Most of us here really do want the best for you and your family, but there are always flies in the ointment. Again, we stand with you all the way. Our Lord is with you.
