@@stranger3131 "everyone has their own world" means that everyone has their own perspective on things, and no two people will ever have the exact same way of thinking about a specific topic, since words don't really go that far yet. the idea of just being another person in someone else's world is supposed to mean that you're not really that special, at least not compared to how you think of that other person, which is them being a whole different world for you. honestly, the idea of "having your own world" does sound really selfish when you just say it like that, but when it's put in different contexts, it's not the same anymore. so the main idea of the comment isn't about the other person claiming that the world belongs to them, but that in their specific world, their perspective, you're not really as special as how you think of them.

Basically every crush I've had and I was never and probably never will be able to tell if they're emotionally available or if they like me, no matter what signs people tell me and no matter how many of these educational videos I watch. It also doesn't help that I'm autistic and have a much more difficult time picking up on social cues as well as being shy, introverted, socially awkward and not knowing the proper place or how to properly put myself out there
@@FFRrox First of, remember this: We tend to accept the love we think we deserve to have.
That means, if you believe that you will never be worthy enough to be loved by others, you will find THAT thinking as a reflection your real life.
Second. Believe, know, and live out, your life as if you are already worthy of being loved by others. Because, you are! When you walk in confidence of who you are, with self-diginity and self-respect, people subconsciously respond to that. No need for cognitive-behavior or such training for that to work out. Its a natural human respond to respect the ones who "project" self-respect, etc, etc.
And thirdly, you may need individualize coaching or counseling in learning to to socialize with people. I know they are great life coaches and therapists with such skills that deals with people on the Spectrum. So don't lose hope.
I have a college-age cousin and she's autistic, on the higher functioning end. She's an Introvert, shy, artistic, anime and cat loving young woman. She's pretty amazing actually. She has an equally great non-nuerodivergent bf. He's respectful, kindhearted, high EQ type, sociable, funny, and patient young man. They are great together.
So if she can have that, so can you. Keep on believing that you will find the right partner for you.
Just stop falling for them period. They are worthless and useless. Live for yourself.

There's this friend of mine who I've liked for two years. We've been really good friends since kindergarten.
I saw him in one of my classes on the first day of school, and I sat next to him. Our teacher was a substitute that didn't know what to do, so we basically just talked all class. I noticed that he was really quiet and kept on trying to avoid eye contact, but I also noticed that whenever I talked to one of my other friends he looked a little sad, like he wants me to talk to him.
We also play online together a lot. Whenever he notices I'm in a game, he joins me. Whenever he's online, he messages me and asks me to play or just talks. Considering how many other friends he has, it's a little strange how he always wants to hang out with me.
Long story short, I think he likes me back.

That's a good topic. Maybe we can start with some ideas here?
INFJ guy speaking here, but I feel like clearly voicing one's goals, hopes, and/or expectations up front better enables others in making informed relationship decisions. It can be something simple like "Hey let's be friends," or something more complex like "I need more X type of friends in my life; do you have any suggestions/recommendations?"
We should respect that the demands on people's time and schedules (not to mention their own personal goals) will occasionally necessitate that they prioritize some relationships over others. If they've got room for more friends in their life awesome, but let's also keep in mind that perhaps they aren't currently able to justify making time unless it's for romance.
You never know, you might even find someone who'd really enjoy having a purely platonic movie/book/music snuggle buddy but can't have pets because of allergies.

My prior relationships has driven me to go on through life on my own, but I seem to have been alone for too long now as I tend to distance myself from anybody I sense romantic tension with. there’s this guy in my science, maths, pe and religion class. once during maths, he randomly sat at my table with his friend (who normally sits at my table) and he stared at me. he then told me that he remembers me from early primary school (we’re in grade 8 of highschool), now every few days he approaches me and does something random (the other day in pe he gave me a handshake, i tried to pull away but he took my hand again and asked me to do it properly). my friend told me that he was staring at me during science class, and ik it’s true bc i saw him do that multiple times, btw i usually tie my hair up and this was one of the days where i had it out. i rlly like him, he’s super funny and confident, but he’s a popular kid while i’m just some quiet girl lol. i have social anxiety so i blush a lot, i literally turn into a tomato when i look at him. i’m rlly not sure how to approach him, but i’d love to become friends with him and even see if he likes me bk (if i’m lucky)

I was that girl 15 years ago. For me, my issue was I had deep psychological issues growing up and so I was scared of intimacy. It’s ok if I only show affection, but when the boy returned the feeling and tried to bring the relationship to the next step, I freaked out and bailed.

if you wait too long these feelings might fade since they are all chemicals in your brain, each time these chemicals: endorphins, dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin get released your brain gets used to them and you might feel less attracted, so i think it's better to jump in sooner especially if you are in your teenage years because these hormones get quite chaotic and unpredictable.

I actually do mirroring consiously when I'm trying to get someone to like me, because subconsiously they notice are are more likely to take a liking to you and trust you more. I saw it on UA-cam when a dectective was doing it while interrogating someone and the video explained why he was doing it.

I've experienced all those things and found out the hard way they do NOT mean anything.
People like hanging with people who are not jerks. Doesn't mean they "like" you that way. Maybe you're just not a jerk.
Priorities are hard to gauge if you don't really know what a person's options are. They could have absolutely NO other options and you are "better than nothing".
Science does not apply to affection/emotion.
Some people are just touchy-feely (with everyone) and it means nothing.
Maybe people ask your opinion cos they wanna know what NOT to do.
What the hell is "steamy"? if it has anything to do with being sexually/erotically expressive, people can do that around platonic friends, too.
Doesn't mean anything except they're sharing what they like.
Mirroring people's actions can be a subconscious thing. If I listen to British people long enough, I start talking like them - accent, slang & expressions, the whole bit.
Doesn't mean anything except that I am "absorbant" of certain traits/attributes. After a few minutes, I go right back to being my boring North American self.

I value my best friends basically above anything else, except for close family members, and let them know on a daily basis, and often ask those who live close to me to hang out
I do the same , when I am close with someone, I do all the most of the mentioned things and this makes me really confused 😅....but I am not doing touchy feely and being steamy tho
@@proudally6662 yea same. For me it’s also mainly just a hug once in a while and that’s it. And I only feel steamy when I have a crush on someone
